Frogs like to eat live food as that is what they are evolved to eat in the wild. Live feeding provides the best nutrition as well as stimulation for the frogs' virility. Eating food prekilled is a practice basically only humans do in nature. For the rest of the animal species, eating food alive is the norm. It would be unethical to force a human norm and morality of dieting to a frog.
