hi sir I have some doubts
    1. is really have a good future in plc, scada?
    2. what are the govt companies recruit automation engineer?
    3. I am interested in home automation, what are the skills and knowledge (software) requires that?

Dear Sir, This software is licence version , so you have to purchase this software from siemens . For trial version you will get 21 days trial licence from Siemens official website. Here is link support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/78793685/simatic-step-7-(tia-portal)-v13-trial-download?dti=0&lc=en-GB

Why do we use latch ? Why don't we use single switch only?

Mostly In Industrial Application Push Button type of switch are used. Because Push Button is just sending Pulse with Rising or falling edge. In PLC logic Pulse type of inputs are very useful for develop logic. Second reason is in Control Panel Push Button is that type of input which send the signal only if intensionally pressed. So its avoids accidentally input from user. If you keep continue Input it's carrying current and it may cause heat loss and power. So technically there are many reasons .

How 2 parallel switches avoid the accidental input from user?

Why can't we draw single network ladder diagram for the second program??

Good question. Actually PLC scans every ladder network from Top to Bottom and left to right. So while you compile program that time software scans through each network. So if there is any bug or error it will identify only network number or Ladder number. So if you out only one output in one network it will be easy for program editing and fug fixing. Even new programmer can easily understand ladder. So practically it's easy to develop and modifying program. You can take two ladder diagram in one network. All programmer have different methods.
