Honestly the video doesn’t do it justice AT ALL. I’ve been lucky enough to actually have been in an SLS. At the Time 1 of 1 where I reside. Pittsburgh Pa. The car sounds mental ❤. Great color by the way. The one I am referring to was silver (who woulda guessed 😂)
I've got an idea for you Tim and you'll love this... get a decibel meter set up on the wall somewhere then do a 1M line and reverse each and every car you have to the line and see what one really is the loudest.. be a cool episode to see them all... thank me later :)
I agree that the SLS Black Series is one of the best sounds in your collection. My top 2 cars in your collection that sound the best are the Vantage GT8 & SLS Black Series.

It does sound great & it is up there in the best start up sounds of the Shmeemobiles but, in my opinion it has to be the Aston Martin GT8 that sounds the best.
There's something with cold starts, I have to say that the videos don't make the real impression of starting a AMG ...I know.... sometimes I just make an excuse just to go to the garage and turn the key a few times 😂😂😂

Didn’t your dyno videos on the SLS show that it was way down on power and that you did all those upgrades just to get near stock level? Did you ever go over what is wrong with the engine?
Didnt you put a newer steering wheel in it at some point? Thought that looked much better, as the steering wheel really is the main thing that shows really how old the car already is

There were issues with the new wheel, so Tim took it back out. Some of the controls didn’t work on the new wheel.
