Hey man! Little late perhaps, but yeah I believe this is Ableton’s stock distortion plugin. That’s what you need to google for; Distortion plugins. Melda Productions has a good one, also Saturation Knob is good (believe they’re both free)

I noticed a few paid plugins. Pro-Q, LittleAlterBoy and Melodyne for example. Most are Ableton Stock Plugins though. And I'm sure you can achieve this in Garage Band too. In my experience every DAW is the same, only the workflow is different.
