- Brooke wonders if Amber is ready give Deacon up completely because that’s exactly what she’ll have to do if she marries Rick. Brooke refuses to be intimidated by Amber, but is forced to back down when Stephanie enters the room. Brooke is upset that Stephanie is using the progress in their relationship against her. Rick contacts Jonathan about getting Amber out of her agreement with Deacon. Deacon tells Alexandra he has one month left to prove to Amber that they belong together.

Firstly, she couldn't be torn bc she didn't have to choose between 2 men .. Ridge was happily married to Taylor who was having his real kids.
And if she's talking about back in the day between Eric and Ridge, Ridge was again happily married to Caroline and didn't give Brooke a thought until his wife died.
Ain't no Ridge wanted Brooke, so no comparison. 😂
Then she's talking about getting married to someone (read Eric) bc she had his child...and forget about her bad boy. Again, her "bad boy" Ridge was already happily married while Brooke was sleeping with his dad.

Deluded Brooke. I still remember her wedding day daydream. Ridge did nothing to stop her from marrying Eric, and better still, he had one eye on Taylor and Storm.

By the way... 7:54 already foreshadows the end of Brooke's marriage to Thorne. The way she speaks about Ridge shows that she is clearly still in love with him.
@1:20 where Brooke says to Amber “you are right Amber we have a lot in common … I know what it’s like to be torn between two men…. One that is safe and secure….. and the other that is passionate and exciting.” In a way Brooke was admitting she still has feelings for Ridge whilst married to Thorne. Imagine if Thorne walked in then and there. He would ended his marriage to Brooke then and there.
Then another thing Brooke says to Stephanie @16:10 “ would you have walked me down the aisle if I had feelings for someone else.” Brooke she didn’t walk you down the aisle for you. She did it for your children and the family. Stephanie was putting on an act and she clearly knew Brooke still had feelings for Ridge but kept her mouth shut to let Thorne realise who he is married to and the regret for Macy’s death.
The beginning of the end for Brooke being married to the name, not Thorne 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Bye Brooke Bye 🤣🤣🤣🤣. What a coincidence that Brooke and Throne’s marriage ends when the one year anniversary of Macy’s death. That’s karma for Thorne.

Brooke always has to be in conflict/competition with another woman. It seems to be a very strong feature of her character. Whether it's her mother, Caroline, Taylor, Macy, Kimberly, Bridget or Amber, her storylines always seem to revolve around outdoing the competition. Truthfully, I wouldn't feel wonderful about my son marrying Amber either but I just can't take Brooke's bullying of Amber seriously given what she has just done to Macy. She has no moral high ground to occupy. It is especially galling given that Brooke has always played the victim over Stephanie's treatment of her. Maybe Amber should steal Brooke's husband, then she might have some understanding of what she put Stephanie through.
On another note, I feel like the writers lost interest in Brooke and Thorne's marriage once Kimberly was gone. There is no longer any point of conflict. I am absolutely dreading the day that Brooke decides Ridge is her destiny again. Hasn't Taylor been through enough.

Interesting foreshadowing with Deacon talking about "destiny". Brad 🔔 never thinks that far ahead with his plotting, but how apt it would be if he did.

Brooke is dying inside and is so jealous of Ambers relationship with Stephanie. Amber is getting hugs from Stephanie and Brooke is forcing herself since more than a decade onto Stephanie and the forrester mal whores pushing Brooke down Stephanie's throat the same long time, and still Brooke isn't getting Stephanie's approval, acceptance and friendship as Amber does.
Brooke is getting her own medicine server with Amber. Amber is excatly giving Brooke all of the things, Brooke did to Stephanie.
Brooke isn't convincing in that protective mother mode and trying to sound mature.
I would enjoy Brooke and Amber's rivalry more if they were fighting over Stephanie instead of Rick. 😄

The Amber/Deacon/Rick triangle would probably be more effective if Jacob Young was still playing Rick. He at least had a certain charisma and intensity that would make him a good for Sean Kanan. As it stands though, it's as if Amber is leaving Mike Barnes to be with a toddler, and it makes no sense🤷.
