Straatman B.V: The journey of a 120-year-old company

Machinefabriek l. Straatman was established in 1902. We rapidly grew in the field of kettle construction and ship repairs. Furthermore, for over 50 years, we fabricated hydraulic presses, heavy winches, spreaders and custom build projects. In 1965 we entered the dredging market. One of our best known products is developed for the dredging industry. It is a Bow Coupling installation for hopper dredgers. To increase the product range further we developed a complete range of Quick Release Mooring and Towing Hooks. Recently we extended our mooring equipment product range with Solar Power Systems and the Smart Bollard.
