Dancing bears, Painted wings, Things I almost remember, And a song someone sings Once upon a December. Someone holds me safe and warm. Horses prance through a silver storm. Figures dancing gracefully Across my memory… Someone holds me safe and warm. Horses prance through a silver storm. Figures dancing gracefully Across my memory... Far away, long ago, Glowing dim as an ember, Things my heart Used to know, Things it yearns to remember... And a song Someone sings Once upon a Decemb
Sounds amazing! Kyle Landry's arrangments are always pretty insane to some degree, so props to you for learning it so well, especially with synthesia haha
Gonna play this for my Choir class before our concert. Yes, I’m not the accompaniment. I’m just a student in choir. Anyways yeah, wish me luck. Sadly only know up to 1:19 but I think my choir will love it, plus I have 6 days, so I’m fiiiiiine. Ik nobody will see this, but I’ll update this when I do it! :D
This is absolutely amazing that you were able to pull this off, knowing Kyle Landry's insane arrangements. One thing I would work on, while you have the technique down, are the dynamics of the piece. But overall you did amazingly.
@@nesskeyz No prob! And yeah I can just imagine myself playing everything somewhat smoothly, but then a jump comes up and I butcher it so badly I need to take a break to recover 😂
@@nesskeyz I'm a non-musician, so I may word things poorly, but I love the melody of the song because of the movie so I just wanted to hear it on the piano. The first version I watched was from Kassia because I already follow that channel. I wanted to hear more of the melody, but it seemed hidden between so many "distraction" notes that I'm guessing were only used to make the piece more complicated. The best examples are the first 30 seconds and again at 1:25. It's played well, but the "extra" notes sound cold and the melody muffled. It doesn't feel emotional or passionate, but chaotic. Then I listened to yours and in the first 10 seconds the melody was refreshingly clear, no embellishment needed. I was immediately transported into all the emotions of the song. Then at 1:15 and 2:12 when it gets passionate, I FELT it. I got emotional. I think you captured the intent of the music.

I've realized that a big reason I like Lorne Balfe's music for Black Widow so much is because it reminds me of this song.
This is FANTASTIC ❤❤❤❤

Thank you soo much! Yeah it was a bit difficult to learn it with synthesia xd

ABsolutely beautiful, nothing more than needed, nothing less than anyone. I feel impacted. This gonna be my solo on ballet this year.

Back again! This is a very impressive interpretation of the song.
Awww thanks!!
I always come back to this one cover, and I genuinely just love it so much ❤❤
You played it so well and with synesthesia only?!?!?! This song was so difficult for me even with a music sheet. So talented 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I really liked this version. Others have more "flourish" but lose the melody and emotion in the chaos. *Immediately puts in playlist*
Damn thank you so much!!
What do you mean by flourish?
