If it's the layout from the tableetop battles app, this looks like layout 1, Are you allowed to shoot from the L-shape ruins? Cause the crossed eye on the diagram kind of imply that theree is no line of sight? And if so, is it because the vindicator is in the ruin entirely and shoots through the little space between the actual ruin and the base?
I'm really glad I have started watching these. I am building up to my own 2k army using the Combat Patrol as a base. One unit I am back and forth on is the Aggressor Squad. Love the look, but slow speed and 3+ save can go either way. Have you utilized them previously for LAG or plan to in the future?
I've used them in Gladius but not LAG. They are maybe a little costly to be a highly competitive unit, but their twin-linked power fists are pretty nasty.
@ba_commander Not so much about learning as just seeing how you are feeling as you go into the tourny. You don't seem to have been quite so confident in your list as you have been previously, I was just interested in how you were feeling with all your practice done and you fully committed. You have been playing your list well, but I'm sure there are things you have highlighted to try and pay attention to, do better at. It's not a biggie, was just something I was interested in, never having done a tournament myself, not 40k anyhow.
Great game gentleman Those Poxwalker Tarpits are just obnoxious The Deathshroud Terminators are expected to be tough outs but damn they can take a beating
I really cannot undersrand how your structures work! Due to Pariah Nexus you have terrian areas from 4" to taller and from 2" to smaller. According to that it seems quite confusing
FYI, when the heroic intervention on the outriders happened, he should not have gotten the charge bonus. So no fights first. Your outriders should have had a chance to fight.
He paid 1CP to Heroically Intervene, and then paid 2CP for Counter Offensive (colloquially known as 'interrupt'). Honestly, I think a silly amount of CP to kill a bike squad lol. For anyone reading, note that the only charge bonus is 'Fights First'. You still gain all other charge abilities coming from your detachment, datasheet, etc, (i.e. JPI impact mortals, Liberator +2st,+1attack, etc), when heroically intervening as your heroic unit is still making a 'charge'.
@@ba_commander I think Colin took the bait here and put you in a good position to counter charge next turn with your harder hitting company heroes, small sang guard squad, and the blade guard. At first, I was like "why charge the bikes in by themselves" but it worked out for you big time haha!

Similar to my previous post, but how can bike go through terrain that is not "blue with dots"?
Good job on the performance and win. Will you do a pre-tournament assessment with where you feel you are, after your warm-up games?
I hadn't considered it, I guess maybe. What sort of stuff would you be looking to learn?

What app are you using to keep score?
It's called tabletop battles it's got a green app icon.
Where did you get the purple and green dice at the start of the video? I got some a decade ago and haven't been able to find them anywhere since
Sorry they've been in our gaming room for like 5+ years and I didn't buy them I feel like they were bought a decade ago same as you!
Heartbreaking. Thank you though@@ba_commander
seems like the predator was a bit over the deployment zone line, no?
The company champion hits on 2s so he would be hitting on 3s vs Typhus.
Oh thank you! I missed that!

That's kinda how I felt about it, 3 CP to kill an 80 point unit, I felt like that was a really positive trade for me.
