My steps to pumping up my Emergency fund to £500 again:-
1. Only focus on stuffing Emergency Fund for 1 month as a priority
2. Pool all non-urgent (i.e. Christmas) challenge money into Emergency Fund
3. ONLY stuff the larger challenges to complete them ASAP (they'll beef up Emergency)
4. Bonus money and side hustle money goes straight into Emergency

About 5/6 years, but It was only about 18 months ago that I discovered this community. It took me several years to do the 6 month fund but it was well worth it
