WOW. I bet this will get less views than most "the next treasure hunt" vid will get but shows how little most "collectors" care about the history, lore and nostalgia the brand brought happiness to the youth of the 70's and 80's. Id take just the box of any of your amazing collection than most recent releases. Its not what its worth to others today....its what it makes you feel like tommorow and beyond.thank you again Mike.👍🐐🚘
@bobbysgirls1 Thank you and you are correct! To most of the newer collectors it's about the Super Treasure Hunts and how much they can get for them. They don't have the memories of setting up track all around the house or yard and playing Hot Wheels with their friends and how much fun they had... But for me and many others, it's all about the memories and what Hot Wheels means to them. I've said it many times in many interviews around the world... Hot Wheels are the most consistent thing in my life for the past 56 years! They bring me back to a time where I don't have to be an adult and all I have to do is mow the lawn and make my bed so I can get my allowance so I can buy more Hot Wheels cars! Thanks for watching!
@@HotWheelsTV Just think your passion and lifes work brought me and countless others together. Thanks again Mike for your reply and looking foward to '24 for more vids i can watch ol' men playing with "toys".🔥🚘👍
@@HotWheelsTV Being born in '92 I was probably the last generation of kids to play with and enjoy Hot Wheels playsets, it seems after the mid 2000s nobody played with them anymore. I had the Hot Wheels world system and had hours and hours of fun for several years playing with it and setting up cities all over the basement.
Such an awesome showcase Mike, everything i have now is most likely going to stay with me, especially when i find older/vintage in package items. Thanks for sharing!
Very very good stuff you have one of the best collection there is out there I wish we can get together so that I can show you some of my hot wheels items I got supposedly some of the best hot wheels ever pulled out and I would love to show you them unfortunately was so far apart. keep up the good job you’re doing. and happy New Year’s👍
I remember giving mine away because 'I thought' I was done with them - and I've been kicking myself in the a$$ ever since, BUT, I am in the process of getting them back together again.
You are not the only one that has done that my friend! My dada gave some of mine to my cousins when I wasn't home.... We are all trying to buy back what we lost!
l had a favorite hot wheels as a child and I'm trying to find it. I remember it was all black, had flames on it and kind of like a snake head shape for the front. if anyone knows the name of it please let me know. I'm no hotwheels expert but I am just trying to find my childhood car.
@@HotWheelsTV UPDATE: I found it! it was a twin mills series and 2010! it was bugging me unable to find it but I tried remembering more details and googling images and found it. Thank you for asking though and I appreciate you. keeo up the content ❤️
Im not sure, been a while since I got them out of storage bins, I know there is a corvette with a flag theme, I think because the yr was 76. I think I have 6 or 7 different one like the vette and a camaro. I will dig them out if it is something you can give more info if I send photos
Awesome collection! Love to see that not all of them are mint either. 00:16 I have that pink Mighty Maverick as well but sadly some kid way back when painted over it with black Testors and she's been ruined. I only paid $10 for it (eBay seller and nobody else that saw it did not know what the original color was under the paint) I just ever so slightly rubbed it on the front fender and door with paint thinner to expose a spot of the original paint to give it character, and have left it as it is.
