    Nixxiom, brother, I've watched you for years now, and you can do this, I myself have done the same when I hit my largest a little over a year ago. I'm a 46 year old stroke survivor who just went into dialysis, but I am proud to say I am almost 100 pounds down from where I was a year ago, and doing all I can to kick this weight off like you. You can do it, man. We all believe in you, and are here with you, even if you don't know us by name. Don't stop; we all know you can do this, Nix!

    I've looked into cutting sugar out as much as i can in my life, just to be healthier and it's insane just how much sugar is in everything. Cutting out soda and energy drinks is going to be huge for you though man. Keep it up!

    Good luck man! I'm a fat bastard myself and I started ketogenic diet a while ago, yet another try to lose weight. But it turned out to work better than expected. I know it's not good for everyone, so I don't recommend it, but works for me and my wife and that makes me happy. I passed my first big milestone a few days ago - I've lost over 10kg since I started. So only ~40kg left to lose... 😅 I hope you can do it! I KNOW we can do it! Peace! ✌

    • @RunicTitan
      @RunicTitan ปีที่แล้ว

      I lost about 8-9kg in 3 weeks doing keto shakes only. (No exercising really)
      So it worked but 6-7 months after, I gained it all back +more sadly :(
      So damn hard to stay motivated and eating more healthy after it. Worked for 2ish months and then it just slowly went back and my habits came back.
      For me it feels like losing the weight is the easy part, but staying at the ideal weight is two times harder.
      I hope you reach your goal man! Just be better than me & be mindful of not slowly going back to eating exactly what you did before the keto diet.
      I'm going to attempt it again soon.

    What helped me actually lose some weight was cutting out all the snacks I ate between meals. The only snacks I eat nowadays are nuts and carrots. No sweets. The only time I eat something sweet is when it's part of a meal, prominently breakfast (like a piece of cake or some chocolate bits in my cereal). That way I don't have to cut it out completely and it actually feels like a treat when I get it. I also only ever drink tea, water or black decaf. You should try to never drink your calories, except it's in a protein shake after workout or for example a beer on a special occasion if you want that. But overall cutting all the unnecessary shit one eats between the meals is what really starts making the difference.

    Being fat is indeed exhausting on so many levels. From around 2013 to 2020 I lost about 100 pounds. In 2019 I became very motivated by your fitness videos and started working out far more frequently (and intensely) and paid close attention to my diet. Close to 50 pounds of my weight loss was from late 2019 to mid 2020. Late last year I realized I'd gained about 20 pounds. While some of my weight could be attributed to muscle gained due to lots of weightlifting and lean protein consumption, I knew there had to be a good deal of fat as well. I started monitoring my calorie intake and increasing my cardio and have lost over 10 pounds and feel excellent. You've done it before, and you can do it again, Nixxiom.

    Does Soda w/o sugar (1kcal ones) make you fat too??
    I drink a lot (2-3 cans of 0.33l) "sugar-free" 1kcal sodas. And energy drinks sometimes.
    I've tried losing weight before, but just the idea of not allowing myself to eat exactly what I want is off putting for me. I hate having to think about what I eat and how much I eat.
    I tried a keto shake diet, and it did work. But it is recommended to not do it more than 4ish weeks at a time and then wait before going again. It is also a bit expensive.
    There's just so many negatives for me.
    I often tend to blame my fathers bloodline for it a little bit, most of the men like his uncles/grandfathers/great grandfathers and whatever; are also chubby or overweight.
    So it's like I feel that because of DNA or whatever the word is, I gain weight more easily than some others do if that makes sense. I just feel like I don't really eat a lot compared to many other people who are a normal weight. Most of the time, all I eat is dinner and rarely something else late at night. Born with unfortunate stats kind of lol. Don't get me wrong though, I am not saying I can't get to an ideal weight.
    I think I can easily stop eating snacks like chocolate, chips and what not. But I don't want to care about what food I eat, although I do want to lose weight.
    Having also read that exercising really isn't what makes people lose weight, was also a bit of a punch to the face for me. I believe I read that exercising is mainly just for health, not weight & that exercising is 2/10 while food is 8/10 when it comes to losing weight.
    In about 2-3 weeks, I'm going to attempt the Keto shake diet again for maybe 3 weeks. OR- I might do a 5/2 diet where I do shakes 2 days and 5 days with normal non-junkfood/restaurant homemade dinners. Then I will also cut all sweets/snacks. But I don't think I can stop drinking soda (sugarfree).
    The hardest part of losing weight is breaking habits. I get spurts of inspiration/motivation every now and then, but then just a few days later I feel like giving up again.
    Either way, I hope you make your goal Nixxiom. I will attempt it too.

    Dude this hits so close to home, im sort of addicted to soda(only diet) but i also drink alot of energy drinks(sugar bombs) and ive tried quitting multiple times but cuz of how i grew up quitting this is like the hardest thing for me in my entire life. Love watching your vids on this cuz it inspires me to try again and quit and also hopefully lose some weight in the progress x.x

    • @RunicTitan
      @RunicTitan ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm on the same boat as you when it comes to diet/sugarfree soda (1kcal). I also drink a couple of energy drinks per week.
      But does stopping drinking 1kcal sodas really change much? Genuinely curious. I can stop energy drinks I think, but I need Soda. I need something bubbly that isn't just water.
