:) I'm your #1 FAN!!! I WAS the most agonizingly SLOOOOWWWEST student in my class!!! Understandable. Never had any martial arts training, and am starting kali at 67 yrs. Heaven 6 fried my brain UNTIL I LUCKED OUT AND FOUND WMPYR!!! Now I'm the baddest old lady around and my instructor is absolutely blown away at my transformation!!! The fact that you could teach ME is evidence that you are a GREAT INSTRUCTOR! You're AWESOME! Thanks for taking the time to make your videos.

Sometimes I need a cane to walk and I was looking for cane techniques and came upon you videos. WOW, couldn't buy foam escrima and burned rattan sticks fast enough. Practice with both EVERY DAY. Your videos show GREAT PATIENCE, and your right, I want speed NOW! Proper form FIRST. Thank you.

You shared some very important fundamentals when learning new movements period. Start with bigger motions and progress to smaller motions. Slow before fast = Slow becomes fast. Take breaks before getting frustrated. You're a superb teacher wmpyr! I have followed you and your teachings now for 10 years. World class instructions brother!!! Thanks for ALL you do!!!

Wish I had first come across your video before looking at other channels! I really like the way you simplify and explain things. You are by far the best Teacher. Thank you for being a first class ambassador for your country and its wonderful culture. It's really nice to see someone helping others along the path.

Thank you for your kind words. I am not Filipino. There are many talented instructors out there but I tend to notice that I prefer watching the smaller TH-cam channels and not the big ones.

This is a great video! I learned the Heaven 6 from one of your earlier videos. I do much better if I am hitting something while I do it though. So I built a sparring pole to hit against. I greatly improved when I started that. Thanks for all the tips and for teaching with such great clarity! Blessings!

Thank you for this. I've been wanting to pick up eskrima again by doing drills alone (no affordable places here) but couldn't for the life of me remember how this drill went. Very clear and very straightforward instruction!

Excellent tutorial. Very clear and broken down in simple steps. I'm comfortable with nunchaku, but just starting out with escima. This will definitely help. Thank you, Peace.

Thank you so much, Brother Wampyr, for always taking the time to share your skills with us!! I appreciate VERY much how you endeavor to break the movements down for us so they are understandable. AWESOME!!

Thank you so much! I couldn't wait for my sensei to teach me, so I looked it up! this is the most helpful tutorial I've seen after several searches. The tutorial wasn't too fast, but it was fast enough to keep up with.

This was a great starting point. Can't afford in-studio instruction (YET) but this brought back fond memories of my Muay Thai training. Great thing is, I get a workout and an education at the same time, so I have that built-in motivation. This along with my new diet make me feel a transformation coming, in mind and body. Consider me a pupil, sir.

Thank you so much for your very informative videos. I have been doing martial arts for over 30 years and also have a masters degree in sports physiology. I live in a small town now with no access to any good Kali instruction so your videos are very appreciated. Not only can I appreciate your obvious love of the art but also your biomechanical movements. I have just started practicing Kali this past week, more mental fatigue then anything but I love it. Thanks again.

Yeah, I'm fairly new, so I'm far away from shadowboxing. But I do still try to practice the hits without the post, usually while checking myself in the mirror. But I'll get better eventually! I just have to practice, practice, practice! Thanks, brother!

I never understood how to memorise martial arts moves but after this video i got the hang of it pretty easily, i practised for a couple hours and i am noticing my hands going faster each time i do it

Hey, I really dig it. I do Qwan Ki Do since ages but your video is filled with different yet alike techniques that is nice for going back to the basics. I have no problems using the dual tien bong since I use song dao (Butter flies short chinese sabers) in Co Vo Dao . But now, teaching it? You just helped me find a very good way to give an introduction class on them. And working back on the basics. Many many thanks!

So true, and really, it's not just practice, but as is true with all forms, there is no end to bettering a technique. If someone ever tells you that they've perfected a move in the martial arts, it's simply that persons lack of understanding what the art is all about as there is no such thing. You have to crawl before you can walk.

Hey man, really awesome videos... very helpful. I was wondering the the #3 strike where you go straight down under the armpit why that is? I'm just curious since some of the other vids/instructors I have seen/spoken to seem to use a bit different method on that one such as the vid with the guy and the girl video series that are on here. I'm certainly not calling it wrong, just wondering why that is? Just for a downward strike to the top of the head? Also, what do you use on your sticks for grip?

Hey I've tried learning some heaven six training with Your method but I watched other YT video tutorials and why is the 3rd strike and 6th strike in your method more of a circular motion instead of a straight line strike like in most of the videos on YT? Thx.
