Fr seeing AmaLee go from "internet person that sings" to "voice actor, professional singer/songwriter" is still nuts to me. I didn't grasp her being big until she got to voice as named characters in a few games that I played and thought "holy hell, she's BIG big now".
AmaLee was one of the TH-cam singers that got me interested in Vocaloid and Anime.
So seeing how far she has come feels surreal

Been following Amalee since when she was releasing Sword Art Online covers probably 10ish years ago at this point. She is the music artist I have been following for the longest time.
I've been following her since 2022 and her Rise of the Monarch album. 😄 She also has Ninja Way which is her Naruto album even though I haven't watched Naruto or Shippuden but I enjoy her album 😄

It's actually kinda crazy how so many things from back then basically have a connecting line to the vtubers we have today. Even moreso because Ironmouse and Amalee have been in the game long enough to both be inspired by people AND have been an inspiration if Nerissa is any indication.
I hope that Amalee can get that BS scam resolved before the collab. I truly hate people who take advantage of kind people like her, Mouse and Nerissa.

Whoa didn't expect Juby and Rachie to be on this as well. I've listened to them in the early mid 2010's as well. Back when Vocaloid covers were still pretty strong. They've developed so much since.
I remember AmaLee being just a cover artist back then especially when she was featured on NateWantsToBattle's original album Sandcastle Kingdoms on the albums title song, now both of them are VAs for games, anime and make official songs for games and anime. I think NateWantsToBattle was the one who actually did the official English version of Dragon Ball Super's OP song
Yeah Nate finally got to do an official english version when they were dubbing the last OP for Super. After that he wanted to focus on original music and building out his music label give heart records where he features other English cover artists. After years of doing mostly covers he didn’t want to just keep doing covers forever

Hmm no because Goombus already had 1 Million subs when she joined Holo so I guess AmaLee joining Holo isn't impossible but I do feel it's improbable, she doesn't have the attitude of a Holo girl and honestly I feel she's doing very well for herself as an Indie, if anything she might end up joining Vshojo.
