Congrats! I'm a confident curry cooker now all thanks to your channel! When I started looking up 'authentic' curry recipes, I finally found what I was looking for all on this channel! Keep them coming Bumbi 💕
Congratulations! Thank you very much, Bumbi, you are a great teacher. From you, I've learned what "well-fried" means in Indian cooking and the power of patience in the kitchen. ....And not to be afraid of inviting Mr. Potato to the party!
Yes, yes, yes! That is exactly why I love your channel: You don't teach us recipes, you teach us how to cook!! The most valuable skill! Thank you again Bumbi
Hi Bumbi! This is the first video of yours that I've come across and watching it left a very deep impression on me. The relaxed way in which you describe the cooking process, your interesting/amusing personal remarks, the kind & inclusive approach that you have towards making food.. All of it felt sincerely humble yet encouraging and very quickly led me to browse through your channel for the rest of your content. I'll be making this delicious-looking recipe in particular tonight. Congratulations on the milestone of your channel, thank you so much for sharing and take care! ❤
Welcome 🙏🏾, I am glad you are here. Thanks for your time in browsing through my channel playlist. Please do send me your feedback after trying this recipe.
Hi Bumbi 👋 This looks absolutely delicious. We loved your other meatball curries. I will certainly look forward to trying this wonderful recipe. Thank you 💕
I love watching you cook. I also love your voice when explaining the recipe. Please keep your recipes coming. I love everything about what you do. I also think you are very funny 😊
Thank you again!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻 You are giving Ma tasty ideas to prepare my work lunches! My coworkers are sniffing the aroma an ponder how I can cook with oriental flavors 😁😁😁😁😁😁
They look lovely. Funnily enough, I was speaking to my sister about chicken meatballs inside of beef meatballs that I made recently. I really like this recipe.
Through your channel, I want to thank one wonderful person that I met and that advised me this channel…I just followed those instructions, but I used coriander powder home made from my home country , and lemme just thank you and thank that wonderful Ashwin for this channel’s suggestion ❤️❤️❤️keep up ❤️❤️❤️
@@CurriesWithBumbi just keep being so precise with how you mix and add the ingredients , it’s very helpful for someone foreigner like me who’s deeply in love with this cuisine ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏thank youuu ❤️❤️❤️
Hello dear Bumbi, thank you for the wonderful recipe! Made some adjustments due to some food intolerance (dairy and tomato), but the taste and texture is still great. I used coconut yoghurt and coconut milk instead of the dairy yoghurt and cream. Instead of tomato I used tamarind paste, so the color wasn't all that, but a little turmeric fixed the problem 😉
That looks gorgeous Bumbi & I am making this weekend. Question please - could I leave the breadcrumbs out & add an egg instead? My koftas always seem hard & wonder if that is because I don’t add breadcrumbs? Thank you Bumbi as always!
Thank you very much for you 6 years contributing tasty receicpes. I really like your receipes for my own cooking because they are original and not beforehand simplified to the ingredients and skills the vievers presumaby have in western countries. I can always leave something out i do not have. But I can not add something I have in store but it is not mentioned in the receipe. And if the preparation is somewhat more complicated it is ok too.
Thanks for your kind words. You definitely can add something that is not mentioned in the recipe because that is how new dishes evolve and it is always good to adapt any recipe based on the availability of ingredients. Thanks for all your support.
Love your recipes and I will try this. I usually, when the koftas are about three quarter cooked, take a toothpick and prick each kofta a couple of times so that the gravy can penetrate.
Well I tried this earlier today. Much paler than yours but really delightful. Perhaps I was not generous enough with darker spices but the taste is really so good. Thank you for your time and skill.
Nicely done. I agree - it's good to know "authentic recipes" but one should not venerate them religiously. I can cook 'to the book' but always prefer to add something different or to adapt 'formal' dishes - all recipes can be improved. Thank you, Bumbi.

That looks gorgeous Bumbi & I am making this weekend. Question please - could I leave the breadcrumbs out & add an egg instead? My koftas always seem hard & wonder if that is because I don’t add breadcrumbs? Thank you Bumbi as always!
You can add both fresh breadcrumbs and an egg. Do not fry the koftas as that makes them bit hard. Try this method and see how it goes.
Congratulations sweet Bumbi❤🎉😊
Thank you
