    Thanks for posting sir. My first Pennsic was 1983, my last one was 1995. Appreciate the vid bringing back lots of fond memories, and love your solar powered lanterns!!

    ahh, the medieval ambiance of solar panels ;) I get it. My camp is in Mac and Betty's yard, we've had electricity for decades. It's creative anachronism ;)

    Greetings my lord! I dont miss the 22 hr road trip one way, but I do miss being there! My son would have been out on the field fighting for sure. I was a merchant in Bazaar 3 for many years, and my Granddaughter was there working in the food court. Its not like anything I have ever seen, and the classes were super! So much to learn and I would love to do more classes now!! Thanks for the video! THL Judith of Shadow Legion/Kingdom of Gleann Abhean

    Very nice, relaxing video. You set up a beautiful camp. I'll be attending Pennsic this year (Pennsic 50!), my first time in many years. I've never come for the whole two weeks, but would love to if it weren't for missing my (non-SCA) lady. If you're there this year, I'll be one of the idiots running around in armor for fun! -- Adriano du Cabochon, Barony of the South Downs, Kingdom of Meridies. (Atlanta, GA)

      I’ll be there for sure. I’m not a fighter, more of a napper.

    I got into medieval cosplay in the last few years, and JUST discovered that pennsic exists, it’s now one of my top dreams to visit it, thank you for this beautiful video.

    👀👀 M'lord, it is clear this is not your first joust! Over 20 years at the war and still in a mundane camping tent! Oh, the hammock is PERFECT for hot noon naps....away from the sun. Are you down near the bog? You have TREES!!!!! There are the early morning activities, the evening activities....and the noon nap. I'd stretch out near the swimming hole with a book of short stories or a sketchbook. You seemed to have found the quietest place at the event!!! I believe one of my brothers left a plastic alligator with a glow stick inside a puddle near there. Merry met, and hope to sit and sip tea with you someday! Lady Freydis Wolvesbrat *curtsey*

    Are there A Class Rv's at Pennsic War, any hook ups, RV site. Or just park anywhere/ boondock ?

    • @Channel-gz6yb
      @Channel-gz6yb 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes there are a few RV water and power hookup sights. They go fast so reserve now if you can.

    Oddmar Jacobin, Viking persona (since 1994, long before it was cool). Pre-registered $400 for me and a friend in Hordecamp, was told i couldn't use 2 spaces because my elderly friend cancelled due to medical issues, but of course the land agent just wanted to use my space without compensating me in any way...(just grin and bear it). Was packing the van when i realized the stain on the driveway was brake fluid. Automotive shop told me my brake lines were so rotten they had to run new lines front to back. Missed Pennsic 2022 ($400 non-refundable) Then my mom passed away December 15th. Wonderful year, yes?
    After my first 1-week-long Pennsic in 2019 (and we all know what happened next year) going back to the mundane world felt weird, like who are all these boring people (dull mindless worker drones) wearing jeans and t-shirts? I intend to attend in 2023 even if i have to move to Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Pity that Bicoline overlaps the end of Pennsic.

    Not having to drag a campfull of gear along with you must be quite a relief!
    I haven't been to Pennsic in many years, but every year I still DREAM of going
