One thing I noticed watching this and reading the stories in the Bible. Jesus loved feasts and celebrations. He loved being around people and every time, it presented a teaching moment. Whether it was his followers or his critics. I need to start having more celebrations and feasts and having friends over to discuss the words of Jesus Christ! Think how awesome that would be. Good food, good company and the GOOD WORD!

I don't go to Church on a regular basis. I sin. I work in my Financial Career wayyyy too much. I cuss too much. I have horrible habits. I'm often consumed by money and success. I watch things that I shouldn't. I don't read the Bible. Then, I heard about "The Chosen". I can't quit watching it! Jesus Christ was a REAL human who laughed, cried, danced, performed REAL and tangible miracles, led and taught people, and treated sinners and those less worthy with kindness and compassion. Because of Christ, I'm on a mission to lead a MUCH better life (for a thousand reasons). This series is REALLY helping me on my journey!!! 🙏

@@JezielProdigalSon - I kinda quit going to Church. Our Minister is 82-years old and has the ability to put you to sleep in less than 5-minutes. We spend half of the time standing and singing hymns. A big majority of people there are seniors looking for free coffee and cookies after the service (it's a social thing for them). I get almost nothing from Church. I pray all the time, I always try to help others out, etc., etc.

the Scene with Jesus and Nicodemus has been the most emotional scene I had ever seen on film. I would love to have had Jesus put his arms around me as he did for Nicodemus. I couldn't stop crying. Thank you so much for this. The Chosen is the greatest piece of film making I have ever seen, and I am 67 years old.

I am 70 and have been Catholic since birth. I have watched many movies and TV program about Jesus. I helped the priest giving the Host and the wine to the people at Mass. I have never heard or saw the Jesus story as great as this one ‼️. Peace be with you all. ☮️😘🌻

@@TheChosenSeriesHe wanted nothing more than to follow Jesus. For just a moment, he considers showing himself to Jesus. The regret and sadness he shows as Jesus leaves is so heartbreaking.
I see it another way, what I see is the Satan using his wife to thwart God`s plan. All praise to the Almighty, His plans cannot be thwarted. The woman at the well, when she mixed a laugh and skepticism and wonder at the same time was amazing.

I've been studying the scriptures for the last 10 years , so I know the New testament and the gospels and seeing them come to life in this series has brought it to another level. I am in tears. I pray the same, but I particularly hope and pray for the actors and crew who are upclose hearing the words being preached but don't believe. I know that there are people of different beliefs or non belief working on the show that may or may not realize the magnitude of the purpose of this show as outreach to spread the true Gospel by leading viewers to read the Bible, repent of sin, and believe Jesus as God Almighty in the flesh. I know they may hear of the stories/testimonies of how the show is impacting so many, but I pray that it will impact the non believers behind the scenes or in the crew and the actors to give their lives to Jesus Christ. "Let them that have an ear, Let them hear!!!!" I know they are doing their jobs, but I also believe it is not by accident that they are particularly playing these roles. I have to confess I stopped watching The Chosen after Season 2, because of the controversies with the show. I believe the Bible warns God fearing Christians that we are NOT to compromise with non believers or false teaching. We are most definitely called to love them and pray for them and let our lights shine before them but also to warn them in love of the truth and not give credence to falsehood. What lead me to start watching Season 3 honestly was the testimony of Nick Shakoour (Zebedee). His testimony moved me in a way that reminded me that God's grace is so powerful that He wants those of non beliefs or false beliefs to hear and come to the knowledge of the truth and come out of false doctrines. Let's pray that the cameraman who had the pride flag will truly give his life to Christ and the Harmon brothers and the other producers will hear the truth about mormonism and leave it. I pray those involved with Catholicism will hear the truth about it and leave it as well.

It gives me a clearer picture of the people jesus selected to follow him and the impact he was having it also blows my mind when I think about how everything in creation was made through him he saw it from the view of heaven to then be born in human form and be seeing everything he created from the eyes of a human they've done a brilliant job with this series and couldn't of come at a better time in the crazy world we live in I'm glad it's reaching so many people

I am a retired Staff Scientist that worked 34 years as Research Scientist that invented new medical radiation detection technology and I now teach Science at a small Christian high school. The Chosen Season 1, Episode 7 and 8 was extremely emotional for me as a Christian. I really thought I knew The Bible, but there is so much that I missed about Scripture. I always knew Matthew was a Tax Collector and Peter was a fisherman, but the Wisdom of God through Jesus Christ is leaping off the pages because of The Chosen!! God needed Matthew because of his extreme intelligence and his command of at least 4 IMPORTANT LANGUAGES of the Day; Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic! Peter was a brash fisherman that was strong, patient, and practical and very systematic and hard working. These skills were absolutely essential to earn a living as a fisherman and all of these were needed by Jesus mission to become fishers of Men!

This is a wonderful series, showing the life of our Savior, Jesus. Matthew is a tax collector, but he’s brilliant with numbers. He seems to have OCD. However, look how God used him. One of the 1st Gospels of the Bible is the book of Matthew. Regardless of our imperfections, and shortcomings, God gives us purpose in our lives. Thank you God, for loving us past our shortcomings and imperfections. What a mighty God we serve.
I keep weeping, but my tears are tears of joy and gratitude. Thank you Jesus for all that you are and all you have given us. Truly He Is The Son Of God.

Watching Nicodemus at the well was so hard for me, I fear I'd have been just like him and turned my back on Jesus. His status and his wife's demands were too powerful for him to be able to follow his heart, to his eternal regret no doubt.
I saw S3E5 last weekend now I'm watching the whole series again from the beginning, S1E1. It's even better this time through, I'm loving it and appreciating it even more knowing what's coming. Every episode turns me into a sobbing wreck.
The people who're making this, Dallas and the crew, it's like God's directing it through Dallas. It's just miraculous - like God's known how far humanity would have drifted from the truth by 2023 and sent us this gift to penetrate our worldly distractedness and expand our shrivelled attention spans. I'm so grateful to be able to watch this over and over, don't have time for secular TV and movies any more.

I agree that we should not have so much time for secular movies, series, & vids because some, if not many, of them are being infused w/ demonic materials that seem so subtle. Remember that satan is a very cunning serpent.

Here I am in the early, very early morning hours and I can't go to sleep because I keep telling myself I'll just watch one more episode and then close my eyes and sleep. Well I've been here before more than several times. I can't seem to stop until there's not another episode available! Good night this is ridiculous! I need to sleep! I was awakened at 3:00 this morning to pray and I'm a tired woman. Looks like I'm on the three A. M. prayer slot again until The Lord says different. I keep telling Him that I'm not my best at that time and that I need my sleep. But I need Jesus more. I love Him so much and it's an honor to worship Him and pray in the early hours when everyone around me is asleep and it's so quiet outside. I don't know how people can exist without The Lord as part of their lives. I love Him more every day. The more I understand His goodness and love and kindness and beauty, the list is endless, the more I want to know Him more and love Him more. Praise and honor and glory King Jesus! Hallelujah! Praise His name! Thank you for coming to this broken world and dying for the sins of the whole world to those who believe and receive Him. And for suffering so horribly for our health, pain and peace. WOW this is the best program I've ever watched! I just enjoy it so much! It makes me laugh and then weep. Just WOW!
i to have recently been waking up at different times while sleeping, and notice that i had been crying. that happens to me when my spirit is being ministered to. i dont what all god has planned for me, but i believe hes preparing me to enter into a new season. excited and nervous at the same time. there is great comfort in knowing that i am a citizen of the kingdom of god.
@@no1huntsbetter I've been thinking the same thing. I've had a long hard climb and I know that The Lord has plans purposes and pursuits for me. I don't know what they are yet either. Maybe it's not His timing. Maybe I'm not ready. I can't imagine what I could possibly do for Him. I'm 65! I'm living in poverty, which isn't His will for His body. I have health issues, also not His will. But I know that if I keep waiting and learning and praying that it'll all come around right. There has to be some reason I'm still on the planet. I should have died so many times but He saved me. I'm so grateful for everything that I DO have! Alot of people have so much less. And when you have The Lord with you, well you've got the best of the best of everything. Some days it's hard to hold my head up. To face the day. But I don't want to let Him down. He didn't let me down. He never has.
I have so much to learn. Things that I should have known for a long time. I've learned so much the past few years. Things about God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit that I never learned in church. I am behind but with God ALL things are possible. So I pray He will catch me up in supernatural ways. Time is running out. Week in and week out, we have watched Season 1 every Sabbath until Season 2 came out. Then we switched them week over week. Almost 3 years now, never get tired of imagining what it would have been like to walk with our Master back then.

I just realized. Mary Magdalene was said to be the 13th disciple (but she wasn't counted as she is a woman). Then come to think of the children of Jacob- 12 sons standing as the 12 tribes of Israel, but then there's also Dinah, who was also raped, violated & broken but was redeemed by her Father & brothers. ❤️ Talk about foreshadowing. 🙂

But nobody has ever captured the person of Jesus Christ like The Chosen's Jesus character has! I just love watching him show what Jesus must have been like! One of the things i love about Jesus is that he was kind. He spent his time just doing kind things for people. I have always been drawn to kind people.

This show. Shows us a messiah that is a real man that we can emulate. Other depictions of Christ are stoic non men that we wouldn’t even want to be like. Bless you for this. I watch whenever I need uplifted and I cry that this perfect man. God among us is shown to me. Thank you. I am not looking forward to the end however because I went to see the passion of the Christ but I can never watch that again. People need to realize the brutality of it. But I for one can’t see that again. It horrified me to my bone. Made me realize just how much he loved me for sure. But can’t see that twice.
Im with you. I would never be able to watch that again. But I think everyone should, at least once , to actually understand what He went through for us.

Hey Folks. I mentioned this before but it bears repeating. Whom ever it was that came up with the idea of developing story lines and focusing on the lives of the “followers” of Jesus was genius! Most Christian based or religious shows normally would focus in on Jesus and His ministry only. I love how the focus of this show highlights the trials of His followers. 😊😇

My eyes really tear-up when Christ called Mathew to join him and Mathews immediate response without hesitation. Mathew was despised by so many and even rejected by his father. Mathews immediate response to Jesus coupled with his pain of being such an outcast, along with Peters disdain and confusion felt almost too painful to watch yet extremely touching. What a beautiful show to watch. It really captures both the human and divine in its rendition of the Gospel.
I watched a stream today and the creator of the show mentioned that less than 5% of the viewers financially support the show. We can do so much more as believers and followers of Christ. Where people spend eternity is the Most Important Decision a person can EVER make. Let's do more to support a show that has helped to bring people to Christ and has helped those of us who have possibly strayed strengthen of our relationship with Jesus❤❤❤. SUPPORT THE CHOSEN! ❤❤❤
I am not sure that 5% is an accurate number because I have donated, bought merch & watched Season 4 in the theater...yet I have also rewatched every episode on just about every platform Angel/Chosen & TH-cam so many times 😂. Still, if you can please contribute!!!
