this would have been the perfect bag for me if it had a more adequate laptop sleeve! with that harness system, I don't know why they didn't put one... sigh. but great review! i feel the same way about the water bottle pockets and why I'm not going for the prizefighter
I've had this pack in foliage and you can most definitely carry a laptop, i simply left a laptop cover installed in that back space, and pulled out my laptop regularly. That'll leave more structure in that rear pocket so you can put your tablet in that smaller front pocket.
I was able to fit my laptop in the bag with no sleeve. With a sleeve a 15” will be tight. The problem would be the tech pouch to go with it. With a daily carry plus the extras I don’t think it will carry well. And the issue with how the bag folds in when the front “flap” hangs down would also be an issue. A 13” laptop will probably give you a lot more space to work with though.
damn the negatives are a no go for me. was already looking on ebay for one when i started the video. i just bought nomadic research urban raid pack. hopefully it comes before xmas
I didn't see the zipper length as a deal breaker. It does inhibit the way I pack the bag out. But I can see how that would be a deal breaker for some. The Prizefighter seems to have addressed this issue, just no water bottle pockets. Which is why I never personally picked one up.
This video is almost a year old. I skimmed it, but not sure exactly what you are talking about?. This table is just something I built out of scraps. The top panels often break free from the ply base.
I originally read this as table… because I have broken this table on camera a few times. But it does not take a lot to crack a tablet. You must not have kids…. I think Kindles are made to brake around Christmas, so your forced to buy a new one on sale.

They really should re-introduce this bags with some updates and sell it domestically.

It takes a lot to crack a tablet - even without the bag as a protector.
