This is FANTABULOUS!! I saw this and was like, "This would be a great unique piece for the DB bags you provided the cutting charts you created". I thank you for those. You are awesome!!
Thanks for this video Chris! The connector came out great. It looks so complicated but with your great, easy to follow instructions, it is quite doable. I want to make them and don’t even have a project in mind!😊
I finally made the fold over connector - just haven't been anywhere in two years and finally had an opportunity to go to a leather store. A fun make!
Wow, thank you it was me who asked to learn how to make that nifty strap connector. I am so impressed with your talent. 👍🏼You are remarkable!
Thank you for the inspiration Betty!
Love the connector and the new intro... ❤️

Your response time to our questions is amazing!! I truly appreciate all you do for us!!
This would be great adaptation to crossbody straps! Thank you for the tutorial and pattern piece 👏🏽
Yay your the bomb Chris...
Thanks again for a great project! Can’t wait to use on a bag.
Thanks so much for doing this
That would make a nice key chain, too. Make one to match your bag.
What a fantastic idea! I never thought of that, thank you for commenting. Totally awesome!
Nifty. Love it. Thanks
Superb!! ty!
U are amazing 👏 Thank u for being generous. I was wondering if I can cut the width & make it into a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2"?
Hi Sonia. I am sure you can. Just cut the widest part of the strap 1” instead of 1 1/2”. Let us know how it turns out.
@@simplyclassic Thank u so much. I have no idea what bag I'm going to use it for yet. But I will let u know
That is great, thank you so much!
Beautifully done, love it!
Thanks for the video, can someone share a photo link ti show how this is used on a bag? I can't visualize it. Thanks
It is
Mostly used on camera bags. I am sure other types of work or utility bags as well. But I have mostly seen it on camera bags.
Thank you for this video. I love professional looking strap connectors.
What thread are you using in your cylinder arm?
Thanks for watching Joan. I use Tex 70 (or sometimes it says 69) bonded nylon thread. I get mine from Sunny Sewing Center in Dallas.
Hi Chris can you give the finished dimensions please..
Without the D rings, it is 2 1/2” x 1 1/2”.
