As a league player DOTA is like if there was so much less quality of life + more random things to have to think about but also interactions that could happen. League is like bullet points, DOTA feels like a mindmap
I think what annoys me about DOTA however is the visual viceral feedback? As in when I take damage in league I feel like I am taking damage, in DOTA it feels really random? Super powerful abiltiies being point and click is also weird. Someone described league as a fighting game and DOTA as a strategy game
@@bobbob-cd9yl Weird, for me dota's viceral feedback is so much better. Every spell has it's own casting animation, which allows the mindgames of faking your casts. In league so many spells have instant animation. It was horrible getting used to it coming from dota.

Rangerzx is really good at coaching. He is 100% right on not trying to be specific on anything and just figure out the game without getting overwhelmed. Rushing Life steal and just playing right click SF is the way to go and from there you can slowly learn the game.
@@MesterWilliam-ny9nq He knows enough to coach beginners, but it seems like getting divine, while playing heroes like Luna and building what guide says, ego boosted him way too much, he does a lot of questionable or flat out wrong calls, he missed a lot of opportunities to provide very important information (for example he should have said that tinker has a blind from minute 1 and make sure that his student heard and understand what he said, this is important af) also he didnt make sure that Nemesis picked correct talent at lvl15, one of the most important talents on AA SF btw, i am not sure if he even noticed, he doesent even pay attention to the game his student is playing... He lacks a lot of general knowledge (like rune spawn timers lol) and he still thinks that BKB gives you immunity even tho he plays carry... If he didnt say that he got divine like 50 times i would think he is around 2-2.5k, did he play with full stack of friends or is he just lying about his rank? Like man, if you are toxic ego andy at least be good at the game or at the coaching :|

The only one he got angry at is himself for dissapointing his own ego. You can set up camera key binds to specific spots so you can quickly scan around to see lanes runes etc to get info. The game memorizes your control groups and you can make ones for teammates I believe so you can do that so it's similar to league. Though macro is different so the speed and reaction and how people can match or not does not demand such a need for f keying. Though if you watch a pro like Quinn you can see him scan the map as well to see what his lanes are doing
The dota learning curve is overstated its not that hard as long as you tell league players some basic things. After about 15 games you can enjoy dota if your not bad at league there both great games.

Death prophet is really strong hero in middle game, you can delete them easily. the coach should've guide you when is the hero spike the game, is it early, middle, or lategame.
These videos are so good. Once it starts clicking I think Nemesis will really enjoy the item system in Dota compared to league, it's 10x more strategic
as former dota player, i can definitely say mechanics is easier in dota. things like dodging, aiming, predicting and positioning matter much less in dota. what it has on the other hand tho are things like low-hi ground, harder fog(trees/elevation), courier and unique champion kits though there are a lot of brainded champs here too.

Mostly agreed, although I would argue that positioning is just as important, because of the fact that once you are in a situation, it is harder to back out. Positioning doesn't manifest itself in precise distance calculation in Dota, but rather in constant awareness of where you should be at a given time depending on the many factors that you should be knowledgeable of. It's more macro- than micro-positioning, so to speak.

Dota's roshan already exist before LOL was launched. There are devs in RIOT who were formerly dota devs. So basically its league who copied dota's roshan, not the other way around.
Technically Roshan was added by Guinsoo who later on left and joined Riot to create LoL. But imo, it doesn’t really matter who copied who. It’s pointless.

A good way is just to go to watch section, choose 1 hero and look at a pro's gameplay, while having someone explaining what the pro is doing

we dont use that(the Select Ally), we click on the hero icon at the top.....
