  • During the summer og 2017, Vidar Bruun and Christian Sverdrup Engelschiøn from Norway left for a six weeks expedition out on the tundra in Nortwest Territories, Canada. Their goal was to be dropped some hundreds of kilometres northward and into the natives own, sacret land: their old hunting grounds; their Thaidene-Nene, "The Land of the Ancestors"
Out there, they were going to find back to the old campsite of the norwegian trapper Helge Ingstad; the site he spent the winter of 1929-30.
In this video, Vidar and Christian has arrived a small lake they call Lake Kaja. With coofee and a campfire running, they talk about the adventure, the nature and the wilderness around them.
As you may see, being out in the wilderness, that is not an extreme exercise. It's just a question of daring - and being prepared!
