So people will know the exact place they were born/from if they need this info for something. In court, it wouldn't be accurate for Kanye to say he's from Chicago if the judge asked for his birth certificate to check it himself and it says place of birth Atlanta, Georgia. By law, in the state of Illinois a person needs to be born in Cook County to be from Chicago, IL. Research his bio online and you will find out he was actually born in Georgia, not Chicago. How can he be from Chicago when he was birthed in Georgia??? He would lose in court, if he said he was born or from Chicago.
