I'm 40. I have been a voracious reader. I read all parts of the umro ayyar series in urdu(tilsim e hoshruba) by the time i was 9 years old. It was a well written series. I was spelled bound(no pun intended) by the writing. I dreamt of umro ayar being in a movie since then.
But this isn't that Umro Ayyar. That Umro Ayyar was a pinnacle of cunning. This is water down dumb Pakistani version. I hate what they have done to this great Arabian Hamzanama Persian folklore character.

So you didn't see The Legend of Maula Jatt. It was a blockbuster. Zee India bought its right in 2022 but got it banned in India so Pakistanis can't release it on OTT until India releases it in India.
