    I realize this is a dated post but I'm discussing with one of my riding buddies about a trailer. He said he heard dangerous on hills and curves. My question is, If you're going on twisties do you take the trailer? If the route has hills, do you take the trailer? Forgive me if you've covered this as I just now came across your channel. Thanks, Eric in Texas

      It sounds to me like your buddy never pulled a trailer and is speaking out of ignorance because he is 100% incorrect.

    Hi Chris and crew. I realize this is an old video but i have a question. We just purchased and Adventure Sport SST trailer like Godspeed's and wondering what prssure he runs his tires and air ride at for the best pull. Figured I'd ask someone who's done it to get a ballpark. Thanks, ride on.

    I have the all aluminum 18 cubic feet trailer... it is amazing the difference having the trailer now vs. before
    The convenience of the space and having a full size ARTIC cooler on the front. I have mounted a rail on the side to hold my gas stove and grill. We have gone grocery shopping with no space issues. Love my 2016 gold wing and trailer

    Pulling a trailer only makes sense if you go on a lengthy trip. Like you said, it’s very convenient to have one. I got a 2003 GL1800 and purchased a Best Buddy Cargo trailer from the USA TRAILER STORE. I love it, and it’s for cheaper budgets. I got a Swivel Ball, not a Swivel Hitch. My trailer can’t be painted but it’s cheap, VERY LIGHT WEIGHT. I didn’t need nothing fancy. But it does NOT affect the handling of the bike. I’m glad I got one. 😜

    Loved your video. Don’t know if you have done a video on this or not but was wondering how is the best way to pack your trailer as far as weight distribution so it rides properly. You should do a shirt video on how you pack your trailer. That would be a really helpful video. Have learned a lot from your videos.

    I've pulled a Bushtec trailer since 2006. I'd bet money I've got over 75000 miles towing it. It just make traveling with the wife so much easier. Throw a couple of suitcases in the trailer and off we go. We've been out for a week, we've been out for 2 weeks, and we've traveled for 3 weeks. I don't have to try and store all that stuff on the trike. I've had 3 Harley's and the trike is the latest ride. Don't even know the trailer is back there. Thanks for listening. Maybe we meet on the road sometime.

      Back in the early 1980s, I had a 1979 Yamaha XS750 (3 cylinder 4-stroke) which weighed 550 lbs. I towed a small trailer coast to coast to coast with a few detours (14,000 mile trip). I had no problems. It was also useful at home. I was throwing a party and went to get a keg of beer. My pickup had a dead battery, so I used my bike and trailer to get the keg.

    On the road for fifty years and pulling trailers for thirty or so ... camper you can tell the trailer is there when you roll from a stop and when you brake , once you're rolling , never know it's back there .. Cargo trailers , never know they are there ... Of course those of us with the double curse of pulling trailers and dark siding , well we're just doomed I suppose .. Is that a Time Out ??

      Every biker that I know who owns a trailer absolutely love them, I’ve never heard of any complaints from bikers pulling one. Anybody can make an issue out of nothing because a trailer can seem intimidating but the truth is that if you never pulled a trailer than you may not understand the rational behind it until you experience it.

    • @toanogreen
      @toanogreen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Parking and backing up is not that difficult, just practice. Remember to turn the bike opposite of the direction you want the trailer to go. It's just like backing up a truck with a trailer; actually easier because of the weight and size.

    Opinions here are those made by 100% professional riders. Kids do not try this at home unless guided by another qualified professional. The pandemic created mass unemployment. I can see some enterprising Gold Winger with trailer assembly creating some kind of delivery service or worse case scenario, a smuggling service. Is it possible? Sure, anything is possible. Is it probable, nah! Look’n great out there Caliente Riders. Mak’n us all look good.
