James Andrews it's a massed band with the International Staff Band (ISB) from England paired with the New York Staff Band (NYSB) from USA. All the white braided epaulets belong to the ISB while the others are NYSB. Bands (and songsters) will variate the standard soldier's uniform for concerts and each group usually has their own unique variation. Band masters will usually be denoted with a double band on the sleeve. Everyone in this video has only one band on their arm signifying them as bandsmen and women.

Nice playing ISB! I've never been too fussed with SA bands, but great band playing is great band playing. Nice to see my old mate Gary Fountain on soprano too.

The International staff band is based in London, England and is the premier brass band of the Salvation Army worldwide. God bless the ISB!!

I was always under the impression that all the staff band uniforms were the same. Truly, I believe they should be!
I think it speaks to the unique characteristics of each band. It's a fairly rare event that they play together, so this doesn't come up much!

the braids are worn by ISB (i think) and the regular ones are NYSB
