      they have to do what the coach tells them to do. its awkward because of his dad, he has a spot and contract on the lakers for years and he is set for life. his teammates and the other players do not have that, they are trying to change their family's lives and achieve their dreams.....so for him he feels bad and is passive and doesn't try so they can get a chance to shine.
      Andre drumond was like this in aau and in highschool. i lived near him. dude knew he was going to the league by like his sophomore junior year of highschool and his parents were upper middle class so he wouldn't try in those games because he felt like he was robbing those kids of their time to shine and 2 he was so much better than them and everyone knew it, what's the point of going all out and dominating them. it doesn't make him better, he is many inches taller and more athletic then them and it looks like he is being a practice hero. kids knew this. he said it. like drummond didn't take a scholarship to go to UConn because his parents could afford it and he was going to the nba...he got offered it but turned it down.
      same thing with bronny.

But in the meantime, work on that shot cause he’s gonna have to knock down off ball 3s in the nba and a team may push him to off ball guard/ corner man.

    • @chefMP
      @chefMP หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ you act like the current NBA plays defense or this is the 80s, 90s, early 2000s basketball. There’s a lot of situations where if you attack the paint or beat your man, you will get a uncontested layup because the paint isn’t filled with bigs like it once was. He was aggressive on offense and he was impactful on defense. Also had a dunk highlight. Not sure why you hating on him. I’m not a huge LeBron Fan but damn I’m not going to hate on his son for no reason.

    • @f.m.3307
      @f.m.3307 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chefMP I am not hating I just doubt that you can dedect NBA potential by what you saw. He is undersized, can‘t shoot (yet), he is not floor general. He got a couple of points, most of them uncontested, in a G league game. He also missed 9 shots. So on top of it all he is inefficient. I don‘t see what he brings to pro basketball anywhere. He was not even an impact player in college.

    • @chefMP
      @chefMP หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ Obviously this is a conversation about potential and what the modern NBA is today. The only thing I will agree with you on is his 3 pt shot that is very concerning. I’m not sure how he got through highschool with the lack of shooting skill he has today. But the other mechanics he does have make up for being a 6’2 undersized guard. I will agree with you-that he is not a impactful player in today’s NBA but I believe he does have other things that will attract NBA teams when he matures his game a little, consistently has nights like this and starts to get at best a mediocre 3 pt shot.

    • @f.m.3307
      @f.m.3307 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chefMP I don‘t disagree. Let‘s see how fast and athletic he is, so far I only see that he can jump. If he can get into a flow and has another development level or 2 in him we might see more of him. However so far he hasn‘t excelled on any Level.

      @tdup191 well I am a fan of lebron but I don't try to find some excuse just to save him. At the age of 39 that's very common for an athlete.. Kobe retired at the age of 37 bec he knows that he isn't the same anymore. He couldn't defend and he is shooting below 40%. Even Michael Jordan couldn't even defend anyone at that age.. I don't expect anyone at that age to be a great defender.
