@ I was playing an owlin sorcerer, the first of my kind, awakened by the magic of the three moons in Dragonlance. We were trying to rescue some allies of elven NPCs trapped on an island fortress. (My PC is trying to start a new race-off screen-so he loves meeting new people.) The plan was to have our army beseige the front gate while I fly over and escort the prisoners to freedom, but there were a few too many guards in, the room, so I needed back up. Our warforged artificer did not need to breathe so he walked across the moat and our rune fighter enlarged himself tall enough to stand in the deep. We rescued all of the elves without loss even though the plan went sideways.
5:56 Plus you can counter plan. (Not adversarial, but to make it interesting when they have to adjust slightly)
Yes! Perfect. Any examples of times you've done this you'd like to share?

Yes! I love that! Thank you for sharing. As a DM, I love seeing what the players come up with!
