Yes. More earl. Congrats on another Mosconi Cup appearance! And, more of these, please. Listening to Earl's wisdom and wit is a treat. Also love his commentary on wasting time and saying where they should hit on the cue ball. Just great fun to listen to.
I do expect Earl to play well at the Mosconi. Earl loves the big occasion. I just hope Earl behaves better than he did on his last outing there. He was obnoxious both to his opponents and his teammates.
Earl, you are the man that has seen it all and tells it like it is with your commentary. I really enjoy the honesty and how you don't pull any punches. I would love to see you be the MVP at this year's Mosconi up, best of luck to you! Also keep up the great vids Billiard Network, you guys do a great job.
Love to see Mr Strickland at the Mosconi-Cup! And he is definitely already in competition mode. Comments aren't relaxed as usual and making fun of himself has stopped! That's good. Even as an European i would love it to see Mr Strickland win!
I tried to watch last year's Mosconi Cup on TH-cam, but there were several matches, including the final, that they did not show. If they don't show them ALL this year, I won't bother watching ANY of them.
Earl=pure gold. Says everything he is thinking and I love it! With a regular commentator this would’ve been one of the most boring matches ever. But with Earl it’s exhilarating
What’s great about Earl’s commentary is he pointed out what people should and should not do and you can actually learn a lot from it. Like some layouts on the table, Earl predicted it should be played in this specific way to get the best outcome, and the players in the video didn’t play it the same way, they instantly got in trouble, and Earl got it right almost 100% out of them. He is still up there on top with the table knowledge and battle experience and young guns nowadays should learn how to move on the table like he does, it should help a lot.
You are 100% right. I heard Earl do commentary on a match a long time ago. Suddenly Earl says "If he gets on the wrong side of the 3, he'll never get out." Sure enough, Earl was right, before the guy shot the 2. The guy got on the wrong side of the 3 and he did not get out.
Oh my God. 2021 is going to be a Mosconi cup for the history book. Earl is in true form. I know ill be watching all the matches of the euro players that he commentated on. He lit the fuse with this one Go USA!!!
I appreciate Earl's knowledge and expertise while commentating, but I wish he'd knock off the disrespectful comments about these two players being "lucky"every f-ing 30 seconds or being too slow, wasting time and then boring me with how he'd have shot it. These two guys are both World 9ball champions and champions in many other tournaments. Give them the respect they deserve, Earl, and keep your comments related to strategy and what's currently happening in the match. Or, emulate Jeremy Jones, a commentator with much more finesse.
Definitely a minority opinion on the "Earl Strickland Presents!" series. But I think in Earl's position, as one of the best ever to play, he's not giving them any breaks when they make a mistake or get lucky.
nothing wrong with a little humor Karen i love the originality of Earl ,screw that trying to be like someone else, reality is more exciting and appealing than your pc culture. And they were lucky several times by missing shots but getting safe ,which is why call shots and safes is a better game without the luck .

I agree Earl... no jump cue... no aiming by putting your cue on the table... no touching the racked balls after your opponents racks them... faster shot clock... no 9 ball on the spot... at least 21mph break power... no 3 point bs on the break... AND ESPECIALLY ... 10 SECOND CLOCK! Except for YOU, Tony Praga, Shaw, Filler, Steve Dobrowolski and Van Boening, WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING AT? GREAT ANALYSIS EARL!
38:15 indeed, Earl. I've been shooting some pool lately and making a tough shot(pocketing) often leads to be out of position. So now whenever I play 9 or 10 ball, I'll play safe more often.
I wish Earl could do all of the commentary lol, I love Earl, Tells it exactly like it is, especially about the guys getting all of the rolls, Filler should play the Lottery, luckiest pool player I've ever seen, No wonder he wins, misses straight in balls and hooks the guy every time, A world champion that's lucky, hard combination to beat, Biado will give him or anyone else the 7 lol
Agree with you on Josh got lucky a lot when he plays but he’s probably one of the greatest young players in the pool scene nowadays and he has the skill to back it up. He also can play every single game from one pocket to straight pool, and he plays it well, beat Tony Chohan in one pocket money game, ran more than 230 points in straight pool. Noone in the world can give him the 7. Carlo is a great player but if I have to pick a better one, I would pick Josh in a heartbeat.
@@billpii6314 What commentary ?. All he does is tell everyone how he would have played the shot. Monotonous, droll and boring, would rather listen to paint dry

Come on Earl, your too great a legend to be so critical of world class players and such low class criticisms by comparing your great game to these “inferior” players. I sense it will get worse after the upcoming Mosconi cup and will only increase your habit of comparing modern day players to your “greatness”. Even if some of your comments are true, a gentleman gives credit to other players instead of so many disparaging comments. After saying that, I still hope you kick ass in the Cup this December. Make us proud as only you can but leave out all the negativity.
I've listened to several of these and he's not usually like that. Sure he'll throw in comments about how he doesn't have the luck of the players on show, but he's usually funny and self-deprecating. I'm guessing he was a having a bad day or is tightly wound with the Mosconi coming up. (And no other commentator gives such clear explanations of how to play every shot.)
More Earl, I learn the game by his commentating. I think Filler and Feijen are really great and phenomenal players. That is why I watch their games. I will also include Mr. 700+ Shaw. They are not lucky, instead they are great players and on another level of skill. They make it difficult for USA to win the Mosconi Cup. Let's have more respect for the players.
That's not at all what i'm pretty sure i'm hearing. What _i'm_ hearing is: "Glad I called that or I'd look like an idiot. You'd be calling me an idiot. That I don't know how to commentate."
