Only Angela displaying high technique. Her opponent is really having zero technique. I dont know how her opponent survived so many leglocks/armbars. Maybe her opponent is made of carbon iron. Very strong, very flexible. But in term of technique, her opponent really cannot do much.
Zero technique? Really? You don’t defend multiple submissions from an expert grappler without knowing what you are doing. Give the girl some credit, she put on a hell of a match.

What fight are you watching? She had multiple escapes and reversals. She even had a few submission attempts herself. She may have been outclassed, but to say that she has no technique is just ignorant.
45 seconds into the fight I smiled. 3 minutes in my eyebrows raised. By the end of it I am proud to admit that I was wrong. These two just up showed a lot of guys. Yes very impressive

This bout was the highest level of competition and both women are not only extremely tough but fight savvy. Two of the toughest fighters I have ever seen. The pain they endured just to remain in the bout was extreme. Warriors.

in most countries, fighters start very young; single digit age. a Thai 18 year old may have 12 years fighting experience. teen fighters are a rarity stateside. in mexico, you can watch 18 year old professional fighters with 20 pro bouts =/
It's not flexibility. It's the strength cap that makes this difference that makes other aspects more viable. It's like WNBA, it's how basketball is supposed to be played but yeah.
Great fight from both competitors, ONE is full of gems. Sadly full of horrible judging as well. That second knee strike to the back of Lenas head was clearly intentional, since she was well aware of her positioning and knew those knees could be illegal blows, and Angela giving a decent bite to Lenas inner thigh to fight off that leg choke attempt remained unnoticed as well.
I could see the knee to the back of the head, but I hardly doubt that was intentional. Also, a "bite"?? I replayed the vid twice, and not once did I see Angela bite lol. I'm a huge Angela Lee fan, and she don't play like that, so I know you're bullshitting.

So its hard to believe she didnt know those knee's could be illegal. When in doubt, dont deliver, simple as that. For the bite: I guess you'll have to watch a third time little fanboy: Start at roughly 7:00. Both thighs of Lena dont have any visible pressure marks. At 7:30 roughly Lena wraps her foot and calf around Angelas face trying to go for a head scissor. Angela digs her face deep in Lenas thigh and you can hear her squealing for a moment. Once both fighters unwrap, you can see a neat little haematoma right at the spot where Angelas face was previously. Where does it come from? pinpoint pressure caused by the gum shield.
I don’t approve of back of the head strikes, but I see them all the time in MMA. The fighters all know they can get away with a couple with no real penalty.
@@polkhigh_33 The announcer himself said that if the person being struck inadvertently gives the back of the head at the moment the knee is thrown, then it's a legal blow. Amd at 7:30, which was the time stamp you specified, Angela's face is nowhere near her thigh. Nice try though.
You know it's crazy how most of these women fights are more entertaining than the men's fights. It might just be the ratio of fighters, but these women n put on an insane fight.
I’m not much of a ground game lover, I prefer the stand up fighting technique, but I will have to admit these two ladies put on a magnificent display, these two may have just changed my mindset about the grappling portion. This fight was faced paced and it went back and forth. If this had of ended in a draw I wouldn’t have been disappointed the action was evenly divided

Women and men's MMA are almost two different sports, the flexibility that women have makes for an incredible ground game. Great fight.
