+La Nyrah White you should prolly get bed risers bc the bed is really low & it has a shower rod & you can put stuff on the wall! It just can't ruin the paint...& you can put holes like drilling or hammering nails but you can use thumb tacks !

Yes...if you're living in Phase 1&2 or 3 you can get bed risers, in Phase 6 you don't need them, there's enough space under the bed. The shower has a shower rod. You can put stuff on the wall you just can't drill holes and you can't have anything that'll make the paint come off. So thumb tacks are ok
If you are a freshman you have to live in University College unless you don't do your housing on time and you may be moved to the phases or off campus just depending on the timing but you wanna live in the UC
Transferring here next summer as a junior. Do you have any off campus recommendations? I'm going to be turning 25 next year (military veteran) and don't want to live on campus
I would say Brookside or Creekside. If you want to be in Prairie View which is dead and really country...if you want a normal life lol check in Cypress, it's the next city over and closer to Houston, it's about 20 mins from the campus... that's where most people try to move to because it's more resources around.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely trying to avoid roommates. I roomed with ppl for 4 or my 6yrs in the military I need my space lol. Are 1br expensive or something?
They will come talk to yall when it's time to apply for housing and you have to do it really fast bc upperclassmen get to renew their leases first so it's fewer rooms but they'll tell yall! But I'm saying in Phase 6 still !

Hey, so I went to the Pv Vs Tsu game yesterday and it was soooo dead! Is the next game (pv vs tsu @ tsu) gonna be live/good because Im starting to feel like theres no more school spirit!! I want this to be my future school but i want to make the most of my 4 years of college not hate it.

Yeah I went out to y'all homecoming this year lol besides campus PV pretty dead. The closer to Houston the better

At prairie view, do freshmen get to choose what dorm they want to stay in, is it like first come first serve? @india
All freshmen stay in the UC until it's full & yes first come first serve so just make sure you pay your deposit & first installment for a secure spot
