Mouldings look tatty. Alarm bells should be ringing when you see that amount of flash on the parts. Even the clear parts look jaded. This happens quite often with Revell as I had similar experience building their Hurricane Mk IIc. They have a habit of re-issuing old tooling in new boxes with fancy new artwork to lure you into thinking it's a new kit. Only when you open it up do you realise you've been sold a turd. Thanks for posting this as it is one I shall avoid, but I wish you the best of luck in building these.
DEC. 18th 2023… I have both these kits in the Stash, only bought them separately… I think both are good kits… Most of the REVELL GERMANY kits are pretty good… All you need maybe are Photo Etch Seatbelts for them to add details… Thanks for putting this together… 👍👍👍👍👍 CHRIS 🇺🇸
These models were pretty good in their time: and they were cheap. But times have changed and $28 is NOT cheap for these. Both have accuracy issues for pedants. And all these 90s Revell moulds are now damaged. It is well to say we prefer Tamiya, but their range is only the 'favourites'. Eduard do both these, better than Tamiya but not so easy to build. I also like AZ Model and Sword. More work but superb, subtle details. Modern Airfix is not much better than Revell.
Yes, Revell is not a good kit, it’s more work than fun 😀 Thanks for your experience with other company. I have a lot of Tamiya kits and they are good 👍 I have no experience with Eduardo and AZ Model, but I want to try it next year.
Bf-109's prop and pitot tube has molding faults. I've built one and I have one in my stash. Both are defective in the same way. Your prop is also deformed.

I won’t be buying a Revell kit again, for the same reason. Yesterday I ordered from Tamiya aircrsft Focke-Wulf 190, I’m already looking forward to it.

Yes you are right. I definitely prefer kits from Tamiya, they are better processed without deformed parts.
