Shroud is a rare case. He was born with the things that naturally make you a god gamer. Being high iq, reaction time etc. And he has the work ethic to push himself to improve in any game he plays

His reaction time is around 150-160 so it’s actually not nearly as fast as a lot of pro gamers for example kennys is around 110

This was a great video, i always think that shroud had untammed potential to be a PRO in any game he wanted. Good thing he found himself on streaming. What you said about him processing information is absolutely right. It always was his difference, thats why he could be a CS PRO even today. His reflexes are inhuman.

I wouldn't say shrouds aim is no.1 in the world (controversial) however, I would say his adaptability between games is unreal. In that regard he is a phenomenal aimer!

Between that level of hand eye coordination & the way he maintains his composure under stress, shroud has the makings of an excellent surgeon.
There’s many surgeons in the world and only one shroud.
He is also a smart player. He often uses the game to his advantage, he never underestimates his opponent. He congradulates the people that kill him, because he knows he is not perfect. The best humble fps streamer on twitch.

Why does it matter? You aren't going to get better by copying what shroud does, espeically considering that shroud doesn't really give a shit. He used the g303 for years even though he didn't like the shape.

@@abhijaysaraswat83 shroud uses hybrid wrist and arm. pretty sure n0thing said that shroud's arm flicks were so accurate that he only has to compensate for a small distance with his wrist.
that will not help you at all. Shroud plays FPS games at least 8 hours a day every day almost 365 days a year. That is why he is good.

Legendary Gamer.
"Taking in all the optical information..." you're actually missing a huge part of what makes high level FPS players so good... auditory information. I actually learned this from a Shroud video, the directional sounds are key. This is when i gave up trying to compete in FPS, as i'm deaf in one ear and have no way of determining directional sound.
I'm pretty sure CSGO's Fer is deaf in one ear too, but he still manages to play well with unique aggression (which is probably less dependent on directional sound)
Yeah that wouldn't be easy, but I think at the same time positioning helps you avoid situations where you need to make auditory reads. Not that it would be easy still. If you notice in most of these clips Shroud is using auditory reads when he is completely surrounded. That is not a good position to be in, and most people either way just die there.
What impresses me the most about him, is the fact that he learns so fast in fps games. His learning curve is extremely steep in the beginning and it takes a lot of time until people catch up, tho they really can catch up and even overtake him tho they need to put in a lot more work than him.

What makes Shroud so special is that he can have god aim in every god damn FPS game, doesn't matter what it is he can learn that game so quickly and be really good at it.
Except the ones with trackign or click timing aim. He can't play AFPS for shit.
Still have yet to see him clear a room in Planetside, but this is definitely impressive enough to say he’d be better than average with no prior experience at that game too...
