Thanks mate, appreciate that 🙏 It was a fun episode to put together and now I'll be able to watch and remember the good times for years to come 👍 Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers, Nathan.
Gobsmacked as to how well you have put together this series. Loved it Nath. Thanks so much for your time and now, I'm looking forward to what you are going to put before us all in your next series. ! Cheers, mate.
Thanks Jim! Glad you enjoyed this series, was certainly fun to put together 👍 I'm looking forward to more trip vid's in the future. Hopefully I can maintain the quality 😬
Wow…. What a bloody awesome series. Can’t wait to explore your earlier videos. Heading up to the Pilbara/Kimberley in a few weeks… can’t wait. Thanks heaps 🎉
Thanks Mark. This was an absolutely awesome trip and these episodes provide great memories for me too 👍 Pilbara and Kimberley = a lot of fun and adventure, all the best with your trip
Absolutely loved this series mate. Very professionally put together and the drone footage is next level. Thanks heaps as I have saved the series for when we travel there. Soo much valuable info. cheers Mick
Another awesome episode mate I never get tired of watching your videos of the Pilbara we used to spend a lot of time at Karajini when we worked over there
Looks like an epic adventure. Such beautiful scenery - haven't been out there since the 1980's for work. looks like a bucket list. Great footage and well put together.
Awesome series Nathan!! Equal to Ronny Dahl’s touring series. The difference being that Ronny has a professional cameraman/crew travelling with him to do all the filming. Thanks for taking us along on your Pilbara adventure🤙
Thanks mate, I appreciate that feedback! It sure was a lot of work, but a whole lot of fun to produce and now I'll have the memories to look back on for years to come 👍 Cheers.
Cheers mate, really happy with how some of the drone footage turned out! Certainly another perspective you can't achieve otherwise. Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Great job on the series Nathan. Thanks for sharing your adventure. You have certainly motivated me to get back to the Pilbara and get the new cruiser dirty
Excellent series Nathan, Thankyou mate for taking the time to create this content, many of us appreciate the time it takes to get a production like this sorted AND it was a first class effort. I’m actually going to watch it again, that’s how much I enjoyed it 😂 cheers man 👍
Thanks mate, appreciate that 👍 These series sure take a heck of a long time to organise, but in the end it worth it. Not only do other's get to enjoy the trip, but I'll have memories for years to come! Haha, enjoy round 2 😆
Amazing series man, wow. It's on the bucket list for me to tour the WA but I'm not sure I'll ever get there with my 4x4. Thanks for providing just a small glimpse of the joy it must be to travel the WA!
Congrats mate! This is your finest work yet! Amazing drone shots, excellent choice in music en you took us right with you on this great adventure.. can't wait to go and explore your beautiful country! Cheers mate 🤙🏼
Thanks Simon, always appreciated! Very glad that you enjoyed it. It sure was a fun trip series to put together and I'm looking forward to another when I can get back out again. 👍
Interesting to hear that all three vehicles are having starter motor issues, I would have thought the alternator issue would have been more relevant. You certainly put your vehicles through some gruelling tracks, I'm very impressed at what the 200 series is capable of. As mentioned previously, I would love to hear a review about how the various items including vehicles performed over the trip.
Yes, the alternators all managed to pull through unscathed at this time, however those starters are feeling the water now 😟 I too am very impressed with the cruisers and the trailers too, that TVAN definitely exceeded my expectations! Cheers
Thanks Tom, it was a fun series to put together! Really enjoyed the trip itself and happy with the series to ensure I can re-visit the memories for years to come! Glad you have enjoyed them and hopefully I can keep the quality up 😬
G’day Nathan Very nice, enjoyed all episodes. Liked very much your drone videos.. Weather…. It’s getting more and more unpredictable, but that’s challenge. All day dry guess you guys had many times.. Travel safe all time Cheers
I've driven triple roadtrains & oversize low loaders through the Pilbara, traversing all these places you've been through. Obviously, unable to access all the sights & gorges you visited in this video. I really enjoyed travelling with you on your trip
What a great adventure. And doing with your Dad is priceless..🇦🇺🦘🦘 😃👍 I was wondering how is the Alternator going when you go through the rivers , does it get a lot of muddy water through it and up sets the changing system. 😃👍 take care
For sure, very fortunate to have this time with my dad! Alternator is still going strong 💪 Starter motors on the there hand are struggling. All 3 vehicles had/having issues now 😬 The cost of all the water crossings....
🍺Great show. Would love to hear Product reviews of the accessories and gear you have and used on this trip. what was good what was bad and what went wrong or could be modified to make better etc Real world tests in extreme conditions on products are thing people don’t always do . They just fit thing without follow ups . Your trip looked great and looked loads of fun even with all the rain. Just a small tip when doing water crossings tape or cover up the outside air vents In the plenum panel. This will help stop water going in the a/c ducting Once again great show 👍
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed the series. For sure, I've got a couple of gear reviews planned. Anything in particular that you wanted to see, I can try and accomodate it 👍 Thanks for the tip. I ended up covering up the ducts on the final river crossing, bit late after getting water in on the 2nd episode 🤦♂️ 😆 Cheers
Just a quick general overview of the things you used would be nice We all know nothing is perfect in design and at times think to ourselves if it could only do this or if this was changed it would be better There is nothing better than real world testing like heavy rain , wind etc to put gear through its paces . Most of the time we don’t experience these conditions. Eg. Did the awning perform well or did you think if it only had an extra rope here or bracket there or if the rain came in between the awning and the vehicle running into the car if it was opened. I noticed you had a few electrical problems. Did you sort those out . Don’t forget to check under the floor carpet for water on some cars the under carpet padding can be an inch thick and hard to dry out . Great show and channel keep in the good work 👍
@@barry.m9681 All noted, thanks for the input. I'll try and do some dedicated reviews on a few of the big ticket items and will try to come up with something. I'll definitely be doing a follow up video on the electrical issues and a thorough awning review 👍
Great series. Certainly whet my appetite for the Pilbara. What gear changes would you make for the next trip? Happy with the swag or would you consider a roof top tent.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! Personally, I was really happy with the setup I used on this trip. When I'm travelling solo I enjoy the simplicity of the swag. I've had RTT before, just not really my style... might try one again one day, but for now I'm happy on the ground 💪 Apart from the electrical issues on the cruiser earlier on, the gear on the vehicle performed very well 👍
Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback 🙏 So no, I don't use much in terms of colour grading. I actually use very simple and free software, being Apple's native iMovie program. I use a variety of cameras that definitely help, being a Sony A6400, GoPro's (8 at the moment), DJI Mini and Skydio 2 drones. I'll hopefully get to making a video on some of the gear I use in the future 👍
Great wrap up video Nathan as part of a riveting little series. As a matter of interest how long did it actually take to drive up Mt Meharry? Well done I’m sure many people will follow your in your tracks. 👍🏻
Thanks mate, appreciate it 👍 It was a fun series to put together. Little hard to tell with all the stop/starting with the cameras and drones, but I'd say maybe 30/45min to complete the climb itself. Add maybe another 15/30 min for the drive from the road to the start of the climb too 👍 Definitely recommend a visit if you can.
Mate loved the series...what an adventure. Just one question though is I thought you ended up set on lithium with induction cooking from previous tech videos however didn't see any of that cooking on these videos. Have you changed your mind since then?
Hey mate, so I chose to run the Coleman dual fuel stoves on this trip. It was more just to give these news stoves a good run and test them out. I still like indications cooking and I have optioned dual induction cooktops on the new caravan that will be revealed tomorrow. If you have the battery capacity and ability to replenish the power, induction is still my preferred method
Nice cinematography Nathan. However in my opinion having background music on whilst you narate is not the best option. I believe the footage would be better served by simply leaving the raw sound as it makes the viewer feel like they are on the trip with you.
Cheers mate, I do appreciate the feedback. I try to keep the music to a minimum, however its when the audio doesn't pair with the drone I struggle and need something to fill in the blanks. I will keep this in mind for future trips for sure 👍 Cheers.
You ought to be well proud of this video log you have put together. It's been so entertaining, well done 👏✔️. Cheers
Thanks mate, appreciate that 🙏
It was a fun episode to put together and now I'll be able to watch and remember the good times for years to come 👍

Great seriues mate! Love the scenery and shots you bought us. Some greast memeories for you guys I'm sure. Can't wait for the next series.
Thanks mate, appreciate that 👍 Was an awesome trip and was fun to put this series together 🤙
Great holiday series. Pitty about all the rain, but not too many people would have experienced the inland Pilbara that wet. 👍👍
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. The rain was all part of the fun and the adventure. At least it was warm...ish 👍
Oh man. Been watching for a while this by far is ur very best video series. 💪💪👌
Thanks mate, it was a fun series to put together. Cheers 👍

Great series mate, you are a very talented drone pilot for sure. I can only dream of getting those types of shots! Well done indeed!!! Cheers Steve
Thanks mate! Haha, they are the few lucky shots! Only used about 1/8th of the footage I recorded 😆

Well worth re-visiting in a more capable 4WD 😆
Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍
Pretty gruling stuff for the vehicles, can you give us a run down on the cause and fixes of your earlier electrical problems?
