The actor Peter Franzen had a stint in a comedy show called Studio Impossible. He has an amazing range of acting, from serious drama to comedic nonsense like this.

Spoiler alert: If I remember right, Ilmo sent a letter or email telling the cult NOT to tamper with it though, so he wasn't in on it. He just wanted to keep people safe, but the cult was a bit out of control, members started doing shit on their own.

For a game that's so dark , I love how they are able to find that balance and timing for some comedy. Really breaks up the whole creepy vibe. Remedy is a master at game narrative.
I love when he makes a big deal of opening the beer can you hear the ring pull but there's literally no fizz sound. The beer is completely flat. Oh, and best book review ever.
I like to think this game is a tribute to survival horror games from the late 90s-early 00s. Back then survival horror games had cheesy light hearted moments to balance out the horror aspect.

I'm so happy to see Peter Franzen in the game, getting a lot of time to shine, with those commercials being a true cherry on top. he's a great actor and with the game's popularity it'll only do him good in the future

With the Ahma Beer, I almost suspected the Koskela Brothers to be Yoopers. ("Ahma" means "wolverine" in Finnish, & Michigan is the "Wolverine State". The Upper Peninsula is notable for its large Finnish presence. However, the Upper Peninsula has a strong regional identity of its own, so I am unsure how well the wolverine symbolism would fit.)
I think that the name ”Ahma” is more straightforward. One of the most popular beer brands is called ”Karhu” which tranlates to ”Bear” so it might be another nod to Finland
