Will it be very hard to catch up or cope with the syllabus if I have no programming knowledge before entering uni of Manchester for cs

Not at all!! I barely have any programming experience when I started uni, I only did one month of Python online course beforehand (just basic programming principles and mainly about syntax) and that’s about it! Uni of Manchester have syllabus that will teach you from the very basics on the first year😊

@@jennitirok for cs lectures, do u recommend buying windows or Mac for the laptop? Is there any specific brand or model u recommend?

Anything is fine as long as you can run VMs (virtual machines) on it, I personally always use macbook but the M chips (Intel chip is fine) did make it harder for me to run VMs when i was in first year
