Geocell adalah lembaran/strip HDPE yang disambung-sambung dengan kuat berbentuk tiga dimensi menyerupai sarang tawon yang saling mengikat , menahan serta menstabilkan tanah.
Setelah geocell terisi dengan material, maka geocell akan mencegah gerakan masal dan membentuk kekuatan daya tarik menarik antar sel serta mempersatukan bahan pengisi didalamnya agar padat dan turun setempat.
Lapisan pada Geocell akan membentuk lapisan struktur yang kaku dan kuat sehingga menahan beban secara lateral.

Geocell is a connected HDPE sheet / strip with a strong three-dimensional shape resembling a wasp nest that ties together, holds and stabilizes the soil. After geocell is filled with material, the geocell will prevent mass movement and form the power of attractive attraction between cells and unite the filling material in it to make it solid and descend locally. The layer on Geocell will form a rigid and strong layer of structure so that it will resist the load laterally.
