Bought the exact pair from the Dianese Store in SF. Took them on a 2 week trip and although they were very comfortable, they leaked a lot. The store told me they weren’t designed for that type of riding but more for very light rain in city riding. They had them tested and then gave me a store credit. I wasn’t in that heavy of rain on the trip either. We argued for a while, I kept saying that they are called WP for waterproof, not water resistant. I’d never buy another pair for any type of long trip.
Nice review Ryan, I like the drone shots too. I’ve been thinking about something like those but I was wondering about the laces getting in the way. You cleared that up.

Ryan, bought a pair of Bates Tazers on sale $47.00 after your review. What is with the width?? Talked to our local police supply people and the riding style is the only line that this is not offered. Most of our road guys as well as corrections wear Bates or Danner. Hi, So I care about the same things you do; comfort, looks and most is safety -- or I would just wear a pair of VANS. So I am looking at the TCX Mood GTX compared with these. You have any experience with the TCX Mood? Last, if you went down, how protective are these type of shoes? I normally wear boots so its a big leap to wear comfy shoes that you don't look like a moon-man walking after parking the bike. Thoughts?
Understand that these are casual moto shoes with protection, crash in Vans and you’ll know the very big difference between tennis shoes & riding shoes!

no lugs on the soles, so gravel becomes ball bearings when stopping.
$189.95 , I don't think so ... I cruise_Z on a Texas Chopper , and I do prefer my Dingo soft leather boots ..

I believe they do offer a high top Velcro closure boot, sorry I seen a video but forgot the model.
Will they last as long as boots? Soles seem very thin
I would venture to say they'll last like any other "shoe" with a similar sole. Pretty standard they seem
