Someone very close to me does mission work in Malawi and I've seen some of the abject poverty of the place and some of the video clips of what the more recent cyclone has done to the people. Have also heard of the abject terror that has been going on in Goma, DRC, that it's peoples are living under. I thought no one in the world (at least among the leaders) cared. If they are honest with themselves they must come to agreement with one another and speak as one. .... Those hotels and lodging infrastructure are desirable but what is the maximum return for the peoples? and for how much longer? (short thought) 2) designate a certain portion of land per island for factory/piece work, customer service, injection molding, computer chips etc and share in the profits. ... conclusion: obtain a trusted opinion of local effects of the climate crisis and build to extend the life of those islands. Those islands are more aligned with African politics than American therefore Brics economic alignment appears to be the most logical. America or England have no intention of saving you if it comes to it (but you already know this), so lets be frank and honest.
