I think the biggest different is when the National Anthem is being sang, ALL South Africans, be them The players Or the spectators... The all sing along.... that will be powerful... probably even more so than the "Haka" of the New Zealanders......
In rugby the singing of a national anthen by players is enforced by the management. In soccer all the players think about during the singing of the national anthems are their DMs. This shit has to change @SAFA!
You’re back! Great SAR anthem. Aussie anthem was interesting, nice voice, that last note tho’, a bit unexpected. Some of the wallabies looked a bit wtf too lol
SA's anthem is a prayer to God to bless Africa and unite us and bless our children :) If you really want to hear it search - Anthem Project | Ndlovu Youth Choir - They also took part in X Factor, another fantastic South African Group to be proud of!
I think there is just a natural bias towards the South African anthem, it carries too much passion in it, I love my country's anthem, but if I had to choose I will go with the South African one. I think it should be the only anthem for the entire African continent, I love it so much.
The line in advance Australia fair: “we are young and free” is disregarding the fact that aboriginal Australians have lived there for over 200,000 years.
I’m Australian but I don’t sing the Aussie national anthem unless I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. As South Africa went through apartheid, Australia went through “white Australia” where aborigines were enslaved, abused and separated like in South Africa. The anthem in SA has changed to be more inclusive, however the Australian one pretends to forget about that past with the line “we are young and free.” It’s time for some change

It's their game in SA. There would be more if the government wasn't making them pick more blacks. in Australia Aussie Rules and Rugby League are more popular with the homegrown Aussies so they end up filling the team up with Islanders
South Africa Anthem IS the most beautiful if the World, greetings from France. Go Springboks.
As a Dutchman, there's one thing I'm mighty jealous of when it comes to my South African friends, and that's their national anthem.
And South Africans become nervous whenever Dutch people become envious of anything South African.
@@jeffgachihi8225 a majority of South Africans and Dutch are the same people
I appreciate you giving us our language.. Afrikaans brother. Love from polokwane SA

I hate it when singers add their own twist on a national anthem. It's not your song leave it alone.
Simple. I hate it too.
Australia?
100% in agreement
i think the flag holder is mandelas personal assistant, zelda la grange...
South africa is my country

Real Australian's want to get rid of Advance Australia Fair and bring back God save the Queen as our national anthem.
@@Angus.Healey that's been changed to one and free now so we're all good I presume 👍

i believe it means that australia hasnt been free for a long time and therefore it is young

Advance Australia Fair is a joke for sure, we should bring back God save the Queen.

True. Everyone says that politics have nothing to do with sports, but they don’t realize how big of a role they have on it unfortunately …
And you think real australians are white ? nope white people are just the descendants of british/irish settlers or European immigrants ...
@@mertinlad is there even a thing of a brown aussie or a black aussie. every brown or black person are mostly from NZ, or the islanders

Thank you whoever you are that sang the South African Anthem, now please go home and never sing it again.
