We did the ROCK O PLANE at Whitehaven's BIGGEST Fun Fair Yet!

- When we went to Whitehaven Fair for the first time, I didn't expect to be riding some of the craziest rides around! Join us as we take you on a ride with the Rock O Plane, Theo's first time on Fighter Extreme and a brutal dodgem battle, which sees Woman Vs Man!
Taylors Funfairs presented a weekend of fun on Whitehaven harbour, with rides from many Showmen including Tunstalls Rock O Plane Heroes Ride, Shaws Fighter, Shaws Dodgems, Taylor's BRAND NEW waltzer, Sizzler, Booster Maxxx as well as a jump and smile, round up and lots of other great stuff. Make sure you check out what's there in our tour too.
Please note that this fair was only on at the weekend, and is no longer on. However, it's likely to return for 2024.
Join us as we celebrate WORLD FUN FAIR MONTH! Throughout the whole of September, we will be promoting this special month and you can too! Awesome fairground! Now way there was a rock o plane.. we used to call them American eggs cos the one that visited our local grounds had American painting on the the cages and obviously the cages are egg shapped - the American egg lol. Great vlog, all the best for a fantastic week ahead.

I remember riding Rock o Plane in the 1980s but we called them The Eggs. I really want to have a go on again for nostalgia reasons.

I'm one of the spinners glad you enjoyed the new rock n roll waltzer the cars are a bit stiff at the moment to spin as it's new but hopefully next time you come on it they won't be and in the middle paybox we put the red screens in and the black screens for the queueing system
I thought as much... I think all FTS Waltzers were stiff the other year, so let's see how it rolls next year

I think it's common knowledge that I never win on these Dodgems 😅
If it were my waltzer I would have asked for no paybox in the middle and replaced with a series of large treble clef musical note lamp strips from dancer to ceiling for every lamp baton as a more decorative centrepiece similar to sea storm. Would make it easier to see through to the other side as well.

would be awesome if one of these rockOplanes owners could find a way to have powerful lights on each egg cage, and like, with a smoke machine see all beams whizzing around at the bottom (like on the fairtrade waltzers) or maybe just some LEDs on the cages, but I doubt it's possible unless they some how mod it to have slip-rings for each cage.

Sorry have to correct you mate. It's not the biggest it's ever been. The biggest was when it was the maritime festival. The fair was 3x larger.
