- We finally get to do a 2024 Topps Series 1 break after all these months! It's finally here! This is such a good set of rookies, in my opinion, that we're going to want to break blasters and hangers for weeks to come!

This crop of great rookie cards is full of players with tons of power and speed, which most sports card collectors love! Some of the rookies we're looking to pull include:

I bet your box was better than the average. The Ryno and Schmidt were pretty cool. I can’t believe how much they’ve reduced the packs. Just 40 cards, lots of doubles and barely any inserts/variations/numbered.
I thought the lack of inserts was kinda weird, too. A buddy bought blasters and hangers yesterday and they had a ton of these inserts. Don’t give me any gold and silver foil cards. Get those out of my face, haha!
Nice box, looked like you got all the big rookies you were looking for and the Rhino relic was sweet. And the team foil was Rays, not bad.
That Ryno relic might have just saved the whole box for me. I’m thinking I should’ve gotten the hobby box instead - but that auto is such a draw.

I've got to admit the photography seems far better then any other year on this 2024 issue.
The relic cards are a step up from what Topps has been including in their retail product of late for sure.

I'm waiting to see if SGC will be running a $9 special for series one. Fingers crossed.
Just ripped my own Topps 2024 Hobby Jumbo box. Cost was $180 for 10 packs/40 cards per pack. I did not get a single Elly De La Cruz RC. Multiple cards of many players but not a single Elly. My autographed card was a 1989 throwback RC of Kyle Harrison. Also received a Junior Caminero RC '89 Throwback Chrome Silver from one of the two Silver Packs. All in all a huge waste of my money. I always say I'm going to wait until Topps releases complete sets and not waste my time ripping packs. Lesson learned once again.

Awesome video Mr. David Gonos. 2024 Topps is a nice card, I like it. Some of my friends don't like them. The design of these cards looks like a 1986 Topps and 1981 Fleer had a Baby together. With a twist. LOL Have a good one Mr. David Gonos and a great week to you and Peace Mr. David.

Is it worth 120$ just getting into the hobby and looking into this boxset
Well, from what I’ve seen, the hobby boxes are what you should probably target. The more money for the guaranteed auto doesn’t always pay off. I’d say - buy a cheaper hobby box, then spend the extra $40-$50 difference of a jumbo on an auto you like or of a Topps Gold rookie card of a good rookie! I'm thinking that Jumbo's are a waste of money. For the same price you can buy 10 hangers and you would get WAY MORE inserts. 3 inserts in a jumbo pack isn't cool.Shoiuld have 5 or 6.
I’ve seen some jumbos that had great stuff, but as far as inserts - I’m with you. Shocking how few inserts there were in this!
My jumbo was awesome. Endy Rodriguez auto, Soto heavy lumber, all the base rookies, 2 mems and silver pack produced Trea Turner mojo orange auto to 25.

I just gave up sports cards and life is stress free! No more flipping, holding, hoping for value…No more spending $249 and getting $117 worth of value.
Try it. Sell your stuff for what you can and never look back.
The industry is gonna crash hard again. Name five singles that aren’t numbered or SSP/auto/ that will be able to sell out of this product for $5 that aren’t named Elly, Wemby, or Stroud
If you’re new…Run away
Or just collect cards for enjoyment, like a lot of us do. Flipping is not the way to go.
