This is an imperfect demo. I'm a 41 year old dad with a stressful full time job - who has the time to perfect songs lol? The playing is sloppy, the bass isn't. This is a killer bass for the price. No wonder they are sold out in Aus.
I must say, I'm very impressed with the Squier. I paid AUD 300 for it and the 28.6" scale neck is fantastic for my 41 year old fingers. I'm definitely sticking to short scale basses in future because they are so comfortable to play.
I plan on changing the pickup to a '62 Custom Shop P pickup in future, and changing the cheap tuners. Otherwise the bass is brilliant for the money.
In this clip, the bass is totally stock, that action has been lowered, and I have the tone set at 25%.
