I love g but he thinks he’s been preaching bout the o line but he wasn’t. Complaining bout Conklin’s contract is way different than predicting the o lines shortcomigs
G flip flops constantly so he can literally call out any move and claim it was his idea. Dude has hailed and then fired Stefanski every week for the last couple years. Hard to take anything he says seriously.
@@okcrum He's definitely the only sports commentator I've ever heard of that sells make up,clothes, towels etc. Not my type of dude but I'll still take em over McNuggets.
Played QB in college, the 4th down play was a simple slant/flat RPO concept that is a man beater. Pre snap with 8-9 in the box its an obvious read to not hand off. He got man defense and as soon as you see that its a 2 progression play between slant and flat. If youre an NFL qb and cant execute that. Then you need to hang it up, cause most college QBs should be able to execute that play pretty easily
My comments about the Browns team performance typically do not focus on a player's performance because I have never played football as an NFL player. I typically focus on issues with the team where I see a read light blinking, at least in my mind, relative to unit performance and what I call "swing and a miss" strategies implemented by the Browns Front Office and the coaching staff. This year's Browns most obvious "swing and a miss" strategy was the "wish and a prayer" strategy for OL players returning from season ending knee injuries in 2023 and being ready to play week 1. I keep thinking that someday Berry will learn from past mistakes. The Brown's front office did a good job filling out the roster before the NFL draft. However, I called out Brown's Front Office decisions relative to the "wish and a prayer" strategy for the OL in March, 2024 and look at where the team is now. Lets hope they can fix the OL and get the team back on track.
Browns play a very tough schedule this year. They could actually lose all their remaining games based on how they've been playing. Will they go 1-16? Probably not, but they could easily go 5-12.
They have alot of cap space, but its to rollover next year because they are already over the cap for next season. G bush wondering why we don't have depth? Might be cause we traded 6 picks, 3 of them were 1st round picks, for a mediocre qb that can't raise his teammates level of play.
For once, I must agree with Bull. I want no part of that Tigers starting pitching staff. And a most dangerous team is any team that thinks it owns an opponent in a given season, something most certainly the Royals think and have thus far proven. Whatever, go Guardians!
Wasn’t G the one always complaining about the scheme and the route combinations and now that they switched it up to fit Watson like he wanted, now he wants to back to the Stefanski way lol
No. Watson was holding the ball and put more pressure on the offensive line. Once teams knew they could pin their ears back and bring it, the wheels came off.
Yes Jay, Watson has missed open receivers after being pummeled and sacked multiple times. I want to see what Watson can do when he isn't running for his life because the Browns OL is a sieve.
The problem with Jay leading the discussion about Watson's performance is Jay was against the Watson trade from the start and he still views Watson as a liability for the Browns.
We traded away 3 years of top draft picks. No new influx of talent. Bitonio and teller are in their 30s. Callahan was critical to our offense. The team is on a decline.
Bull, you don't get it. The Browns OL is in this state because the Browns Front Office didn't do anything relative to contingency planning if OL players returning from season ending knee injuries in 2023 were not ready to play week 1. Well, Conklin & Wills aren't ready to play and it is week 4 and Jones is hobbling around on the field because his knee isn't fully recovered from the surgery he had last year. Yes, Jones needs to lose 40 pounds as well.
Yall still talking about 1 play while Malik Nabers cooked the D & Watson got sacked 7 times. The team as a whole is playing bad but yall trying to blame Watson because it's easy/lazy analysis! Yall do this everyday! How did they score 15 points?
At this point every team looks better than the browns the Giants played better that's why they won there is absolutely no chemistry going on nothing's clicking with this team right now
Unless everyone else on the defence steps up and makes some plays this one is a forgone conclusion. Minshew killed thr Browns last year . Through the air and running the ball. Browns lose if not for the horrible officiating that went their way for once !
@jasoncampbell5518 No, it's not if you actually a qb worth that much money he should be able to minimize bad line play. But watson is a below average qb at this point and maybe even worse. Also, giving up 6 picks, including 3 1st round picks, killed depth. One of those 1sts being the 12th pick which they could've drafted Broderick jones with or traded up for Paris Johnson. The watson trade is what destroyed this roster
"No one predicted the offensive line would be this bad" - said 2 of the 3 people that boiled every offseason Browns conversation down to "Watson gots to show up" 🤣🤣🤣 And that Coop quote would entirely be taken differently if it came from Deshaun 😂 G-Bush speech was on point tho And the team needs to run quick slants instead of go routes (Kevin & dorsey problem)
But when does good against the titans n cardinals it’s oh they suck and if he does good against the raiders same topic jus get rid of him so these ppl can see this team back picking 1st every year
G flip flops so much, is prisoner of the moment and speaks in hindsight all the time acting like hes been right all along…

They were all injured then also

Came into the season saying no excuses for Watson, now all I’m hearing is excuses for Watson.

This. 100% this
Exactly
You need to watch a film breakdown. Deshaun is just as much to blame as the o-line. He has had open guys but just holds the ball
Just because the rest of the team sucks doesn't mean Deshaun Watson hasn't sucked too lol
THEY ALL PRETTY MUCH HAVE SUCKED

If situation is demographics in Oakland then why are the Tigers still in Detroit.
The reason you couldn't sign any good backup tackles is because youre paying 240 million to a dud of a qb

Overall I like G but him being an apologist for Deshaun is brutal…Hes bottom five in most categories this year and G acts like hes having a good year!
So the panel has just agreed that female commentary on football is worthless, never having played the game. Interesting...
