It is usefull to note that it is possible to save existing expressions to a .calc file.
You can then open the .calc file in a notepad and make changes to the expression in a more straightforward manner.

Hi Kamyar, first of all, thanks for the video, I have a query as in transient analysis when I try to choose real part option in the field calculator (for B) an error comes up as, "The stack contents are incompatible with the current operation", the same error also popups at the time of choosing the magnetic field direction i.e. normal or tangential.

Did you get any solution for this?

Hello Kamyar, thank you for your videos. They are super helpful. Would you mind let me know how I can calculate the percentage of the object's volume that is above a certain threshold, i.e. 1V/cm (electric field) using the field calculator?

      Hi ,
Im not sure if there is an easy way to do that In calculator. Maybe through exporting the field in calculator and use third party softwares to calculate….? Would that be an option for you?

@@kamyark8434 thank you very much for answering my question.
I can potentially use Matlab for further calculation. Would you mind elaborate on what numbers I should export from Ansys? I guess I should start with Quantity -> and then something about Geometry -> Volume -> Object ?

Hello sir, I would like to thanks for sharing the videos and guiding us. can you guide us how to provide a ground to a conductor in magnetostatic type.

Very useful video!!! I have one question, you use Real() in your calculation. Magnetic flux density B is a vector so why it has real and imaginary part?

    Hi kamar
I like to learn motor design ansys maxwell using global variables, local variables and co ordinate system.
    Can you please help ?
    Thank you

the software engineer that wrote this calculator at ansys should be fired. most unintuitive things i've ever laid my eyes on.
