I just had a yard sale and when packing up stuff left to take to the mission I found some pots and pans we had in our camper. Decided to look them over first and low and behold there was a 12” All Clad skillet & I remembered you talking about them. My mom had given it to us for the camper but now it’ll be going on eBay lol.
A heads up for shipping golf clubs via UPS - make sure your package does not exceed 48” exactly. Unlike USPS, UPS does not actually charge your eBay account until after the item is delivered and they must measure the box at some point in the process. I’ve been using 4x4x48 boxes for many of my golf clubs. When I went into eBay and looked at all my transactions I noticed that I had 4-5 UPS shipping label charges that were at least $10 more than what was estimated when I printed the label. I asked the guy about this at the UPS store and he said the boxes show the inside dimensions and if you are 1/16” over what you enter into the shipping calculator they bump you up to the next inch (I.e. 49 inches). Going over 48 inches in length moves you into a substantially higher price point for UPS. So I now cut down all my 48” boxes to make sure they aren’t close to 48.
At 1:26 there’s a plush with long arms and legs - I think it’s a Scentsy Buddy Giraffe. He goes for $10-15 but some of them go for a lot more, especially if they still have the scent pack in it. :)
Wow that’s really nice she remembered you and kept that part for you. We picked up a nice cousinart sauté pan at a local goodwill. Well I did. My husband was like why do we need a used pan? After using it a few times he was saying wow cooks really good and just the right size! I love reusing and giving items a new life by keeping them or reselling. He’ll go to an estate sale but still working on him to join me at thrift stores. Nice job!
I’m a bit late…… Congratulations to you and Kayla on your Marriage!! What a lovely couple 💜 I always compliment how nice you treat folks …. See …. It’s was nice to see it payed off ( in your favor ) was extremely nice of that lady remembering you and holding that vacuum part for you . Absolutely nice to see Folks treating each other with kindness and respect and it comes full circle ⭕️ it’s a rare thing these days . I guess you could look at it as that nice lady just handed you and Kayla a $100 wedding gift 🎁 LOL Such wonderful positivity ( made my night ) also I learned about all clad …. You always teach me something new. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for sharing the video I need to be own the look out for some of the pans iron clad I hope eventually will find some for personal use I can't afford retail great finds nice to get that extra attachment it will help with your sales that was nice she kept it for you thanks for sharing the video I will catch you own the next take care God bless you both 🙏🙏
I don’t do round up it’s such a scam! They’re already in the profit when they receive FREE donations every moment of the day and make money off the stuff we give away. I have no shame in telling them I don’t do the round up
Our goodwill doesn't ask to roundup. The salvation army does ask sometimes, but since they know me already that I go so often sometimes they don't ask me.
If my cents total is 50 cents or less, I keep it. If it's 51 cents or more, I round up. Don't tell my grandkids! I always save my change for them and divide it between them once a year at vacation time.
those arent buttons. they are cuff links, and quite collectible. They are also kind of common, but nobody knows what they were, and ignore them. Many even have true gemstones. My father had a pair made from moose poop stuck on a gold cuff link stud!
What about your packing supplies? That eats into your profit doesn't it? Great finds! Thanks for sharing. I have noticed thrift stores are really pricing stuff high!
I do calulated shipping usually the discount covers the shipping material. But if it's a big item I add $5 to $7 for a box. Boxes have gotten expensive
My husband wears Dr. Comfort shoes. He’s disabled so Medicare pays for a pair every year. They cost about $100 new. They prescribe a specific insole to go inside the shoes so he aways takes out the one that comes with them.
Great video. Thumb up. When the employee said she was looking for, I felt like you were being summoned to some kind of Thrift School Principal's Office. Your dad probably turned you in. However, just a pleasant surprise.
morning, have a question and no one can answer me, I watch your videos and when you are at goodwill, salvation army and even yard sales, you are on your phone looking to find what they are worth, question is, what app are you using and how do you find them on the app? thanks enjoy your videos..

No I don't round up. Tired of people expecting me to give them extra money for nothing. Besides, who knows where it's actually going... love you guys tho
Do you round up? The CEO of Goodwill doesn't make enough millions. They stopped paying salaries to many disabled workers, saying they are "in training" after they paid them minimum salaries for years......
@@beardedthriftmachine I donate a lot to good causes. When I heard the way they treat the disabled workers, I was angry. The CEO makes millions off donations. Something just smells bad there.
Space invader? LOL, if you're standing there looking at something and calling it up on Google while scratching your nuts and you're in my way of something I want to get on the shelf, I'll reach right through your arms to get it. Get the item you want then step aside to examine it.
If people would at least say “excuse me” or something like that it wouldn’t annoy me. But people who are space invaders are not going to get me to move. I can be rude tight back.
Rounding up is a scam. The money collected is donated in the name of the business and they, in turn, claim it as a charitable donation on their taxes. Just give directly to the charity(ies) of your choice and take the deduction YOURSELF!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Another good video. Pretty nice that the store attendant remembered you, and gave you the part that you were missing. Great job. God bless.
Thanks 👍 Yea i couldnt believe it =)
It pays to be nice to the help, they remember the good and the bad. You and Kayla are always nice and it comes back to you!
thank you =)
That was great that the lady remembered to give you the missing part~~~~~~~~~ Good luck with the sales!
I couldn't believe it 😀
What an awesome lady. Not too many employees would bother to wait at all let alone a month to see you
I know!!! Insane right! 😀

That is excellent info on that insoles i didnt know that
@@beardedthriftmachine At one time we had a ziplock bag full of the original insoles. I persuaded my husband do donate them when we moved.
Great Video. Yeah, here the prices are way to expensive also.
yea we are hitting yard sales hard now =)
Goodwill in NMB. Found a wood, metal and blue glass TV table. Reduced a few times. I paid a whopping $3.99 for it!!!!!
DANG!! now thats a steal!
I have 4 All Clad pans that I've thrifted..most excellent pans!! I don't want to list them!!

Exactly!! i was like awww man no more filming LOL
I only round up at the Fish Thrift store a food bank and SPCA thrift as well its for the puppies and kitties. Greedwill and Savers get nothing !
that sounds like a cool thrift store
You are awesome .
:) Thanks so much for watching
yes I usually round up. Giving back!
Me too :)
When you deduct the 20 percent, does that include what you will be paying in taxes on the income??
No - taxes are taken out of the net
No I don't round up .Greedwill is rich enough and prices way to crazy. Only way to win at our Greedwill is catch a sleeper. They are not a charity.
Unless of course your a drug addicted homeless hungry person.
Kindness ROCKS.
Give it a shot.
Blessings
I remember when it was what you knew not what your phone knew that made you the money. That was when this game was profitable in the 90’s
Yea those were the days.

Its a collector deals, but it not a reseller world.. Its sad...
thanks for watching
The Dr. Comfort shoes are orthopedic shoes that use insoles that are made from an impression of your foot. They are worth about 300 dollars a pair.
dang!
I do round up, my brother benefitted from their training program.
so do i =)
We sold an empty box this past week for $19.
Very awesome! What type of box?
what do you clean the bottom of your pans with?
What do you use to determine prices?
I use Ebay sold items and Worthpoint which is a website
