what do you mean by a "crack"? I know the word definition of it obviously :) The volume behind the mirror is all "air". How can you have a "crack" in that position you mentioned? Your argument with the "crack" is for solids (or liquids with bubbles /cavities)? say the whole volume is some sort of solid (wood or metal) and you tapped from one end. One receiver being in the solid volume and the other being in the void (crack), then yes they will receive the pressure signal differently. Do you mean that?
hi, after simulation, there is only one variable (Surface dpdt RMS) available regarding acoustics, then how to calculate sound in dB from the output (Surface dpdt RMS) of the the simulation? Thank you!

I have the same question!
if you are using fluent results you need to open fft plot. Then you can select the sound pressure level and so on.
May i know what is the difference in results between FWH method and broadband. Is it the type of noise analysis or it's the same thing
Same thing as in the results obtained
thank you
good job
In my fluent this model not shown.. Please help . Please help
how to define the coordinate for receiver?
thank you for the elaborated Vid. looking forward to have contact per Email. M Ali
