I prefer rock bottom. I think Glitched Crown gives you too many items to choose from, and you end up picking the same 10 op items every run you get it. It's still fun to watch, but it eliminates a lot of the randomness that makes isaac interesting.
sacred orb not that op cus you gonna get a shit ton of low-tier q2 items. but glitched crown give a 5x chance to find good item but on the other hand it guarantees you won't get the worst items in the game it also doesn't give a chance to spawn a tmtrainer :(
@@wd_kxrxss plus you can get unluckily Lucky by getting two or more op items ( for example, brimstone and twister pair ) in the same cycle losing one of them guarantered, and you can miscalculate the timing to get the item, still the best item of the Game after death certificate

Basically I think of it like this, both glitched crown and rock bottom make the ensuing items better, there's more of a limit to how glitched crown can make your items better, which is breakfasting. Meanwhile, rock bottom doesn't have this downside. The limit with rock bottom is crashing, which is also a possibility with gc. So gc has two limits, while rb has one. Granted, the floor might be lower, but the sealing is higher. Then again, because of strimer luck, your more likely to hit the sealing over the floor.

Spindown dice IS crazy, no lie, i found it yesterday on a T Lilith run where i got it first treasure room and actually tried playing seriously with it (like pulling up a table to look up item Id with it and stuff) and ended with nearly one-shotting the beast with Tech X, C section, sacred heart. It's so good i think because it can cross item pools on the rerolls and you know exactly what you're getting.
You can just replace d infinity with spindown if you have glitched crown. It spins down one item and gives 4 rerolled items. Its just a 20% less rerolls and you get to do spindowns
With death cert early you gotta take glitched crown, it just guarantees you will get a good build. Rock bottom is good too if you already have a decent run and just wanna have fun. Spindown is good if you already have glitched crown, and if you already have an insane run or are late in the game you would probably take whatever tear effect is best with your build like sacred heart or c-section.
Sacred Heart It's not an insignificant stat increase. It will not ruin any potential synergies you find later. Homing is good. It's a here and now thing with no additional stipulations Glitched Crown is a contender, but I'd argue you're going for an item that gives you the potential to later find a carry. It's a significant increase in odds, but it's still possible to "fail" your rolls compared to a single guarantee. You get Rock Bottom either for the fun of it, or because you already have an item that maximizes its potential (camo undies, kidney stone, succubus, and any other item with significant stat increases for minimum conditions)
I personally would also choose Glitched Crown. Between that and Spindown Dice, it allows for the best possible runs, because it allows you to actually find as many items as possible and get the best possible ones, or in some cases, the most fun items.

As the keepers i like to take 20/20 to remove the tears penalty of triple/quad shot, with both losts damocles, as tainted lost sometimes holy mantle because i dont trust myself and for the other characters its either between sacred orb, glitched crown or rock bottom
Items I would choose: #1 Glitched Crown #2 Sacred Orb #3 Spindown Dice #4 D Infinity (if I am not Isaac) #5 Sacred Heart or Brimstone (if I feel like getting it soon instead of late)

A death certificate to rock bottom on first floor can be very strong, but it doesn't guarantee you an overpowered run as much as certain other items. Consider that such a run with rock bottom on 1st floor will only be as good as the items you get in succession. Glitched crown, spindown dice and sacred heart are items which can close to guarantee strong runs.
Armchair psychologist pov: You enjoy glitched crown because it's a gamble. You get more items in place of one without a guarantee that any of them are individually good. You've said multiple times through your videos that you're a gambling man, even when that bites you immediately after or later on. You're skilled enough that your choice doesn't matter, thankfully.
It depends on where the run is, for late run i would pick glitched crown or spindown, but in floor 1 i would absolutely pick rock bottom, so i could have a higher chance to get strong early on the run.

I played modded yesterday and got a secret room on the second floor, and there was an item in there, but it was across a gap, I didn't bank on rerolling it, until I found how to jump by rerolling the treasure room, and with one of my last few batteries (I had gotten echo chamber earlier, so I had a bunch of batteries from 48 hour energy), I rerolled the secret room and got death certificate, got glitched crown, and what followed was an insane 1:30:00 run where I forgot the second key piece, but in chest I very luckily teleported to an angel and fought mega stan, leading to delirium, all the while getting other insane stuff like crystal key, leading to multiple ultra secret rooms and at one point I got a modded item that was practically a flamethrower, and got a bunch of split shots with eventually tractor beam and homing (due to sacred heart), at one point I messed up grabbing C Section but, honestly, I bet it would've screwed up the synergy
First floor death certificate is definitely broken, I feel like I'd need to think about what I'm gonna do and plan from there on but it would most likely be either glitched crown or god head cause I don't do many angels
