I don't know if it's something psychological but honestly, I know that there are thousands of brands out there and surely qualities are great but there's something about Chanel's makeup and Dior's makeup that theirs products make the make up looks "expensive" not just on models but also normal people!
Agreed....I was thinking the same thing when I saw the girls who work the counter, it's a subtle classiness and elegance to the look...it really does look expensive! I thought it was just me 🙂
Its not phycological it's the quality. Chanel has the best complextion products (not color range of course )the shadows and lipsticks etc are amazing. Tom ford and Chanel are my favorite.
Jessica Bronner it’s psychological. Expensive doesn’t always mean quality. I tried many drug store brands and they were great and some expensive brands were just luxury and not so great. We women make the rich richer just because we want to buy luxury lying to ourselves that is quality. They have great marketing strategies to make us want their stuff, that’s reality..
I totally agree. It's not just the brand. They have very unique pigmented colors. It's almost like having a wardrobe. The colors are beautiful. I like Chanel Eyeshadows and Dior Lipsticks.

Of course, that's a technique any age can benefit from, just adapt it to your eye structure and it won't be as "harsh" or "not age appropriate", make up is not a set of rules, is meant to be fun
