This is an absolutely incredible video and exactly what I've been looking for. In depth analysis on hockey strategy and formations. I'm just a fan but want to learn more about what to look for in games and this has truly made my day. Keep up the good work!

@@francishockeydevelopment id like your advice, as a puck moving defenseman, it’s hard to stay in my zone and simply play defense, when i leave the zone and go forward at certain times it always seems to work because my player has max speed… but then my teammates get mad and tel me
to just play defense… am i in the right or the wrong but choosing what to do based on the scenario and not just generally doing one or the other the whole time

@@JeRrYxVaNcE Jerry, the first conversation I recommend you have is with your coach - it's important for young players to learn how to advocate for themselves. In that conversation discuss what your role on the team is, expectations of what your coaches want you to do within the team structure, and how you can use your ability to help the team. The second part is to think about what you do well and what your tendencies as a player are. Then talk with your coach about what scenarios and times are best for you to play freely within your skills and tendencies. After the talk with your coaches, it's now on you to apply that information to development and gameplay.
As for your teammates - I'm not saying ignore them completely - it's best to tune them out and focus on yourself. Teammates that worry about every player but themselves and try to coach/tell their peers what to do typically don't reach a very high level of play. And if they do, most don't last very long in the game. I hope this helps!
