Ever since the end of Shippuden Orochimaru has been on house arrest, But with things like Mitsuki/Log he's still getting around. Because of this i have a theory that the whole "parent" role is an act for him to continue getting stronger through Mitsuki.
During his fight against Sasuke and Itachi, Kabuto states that Orochimaru, While finding Ryuchi Cave was unable to obtain Sage Mode due to his body, Unlike Kabuto who mastered it. And yet after all that time with all those bodies, I find it suspicious that Orochimaru would simply give up on his dream to become a sage, Seeing as the body was the problem and he's the type to not give up on more power so easily.
This leads us to the Mitsuki short story, Where Orochimaru alongside his assistants(Suigetsu and Log) conducted multiple trials on Mitsuki so that he chose his own path, While i already said how the parent role was an act, I think the best evidence is his wording at the tail-end of the chapter. The first thing Orochimaru mentions when Mitsuki is out of earshot is Mitsuki "Finally achieving Sage Transformation", With Mitsuki carving his own path being brought up by Log. They then go on to talk about "Illuminating the dark". But Orochimaru is pretty much evil, He doesn't really care for emotions like others and Log is loyal to him, From his point of view, The light and the dark can be different things than we would think. For example, The phrase "In the dark" means to be uninformed on something, It Orochimaru's case, I think it can work with Orochimaru's situation of being unable to reach the light, Or Sage Transformation.
While his other bodies were unable to control Sage Transformation, He now is near a body that can. With his Living Corpse Reanimation technique he can take over Mitsukis body and achieve Sage Transformation, Reaching a new height in power that he previously couldn't, Easily making him one of the strongest of all time(Not that he isn't already).
My reasoning for the trials is the inner workings of the Living Corpse Reanimation Jutsu. The biggest part of the jutsu it taking over the opponent's mind, Even in the case of the White Zetsu, White Zetsu's Clones used to be people who were turned into clones, And seem to have personalities of their own. I believe that without a mind the vessel is no different than a rock, Making them a bad vessel. So, Running these trials Orochimaru is looking to perfect Mitsuki and give him a personality/motivation of his own, "A broken moon will eventually wax full" is a reference to this i think, Once Mitsuki is "perfect" he can take him over.
On a side note, This is also a reason he wouldn't want Mitsuki to use sage transformation in the anime, If he was found out he may lose the chance to get Mitsukis body as his next vessel.

They really had missed an opportunity to make Orochimaru one of the final villains in Naruto Shippuden. In Boruto it would be pretty cool if they continued to make him a villain. It just feels like he was written out, not so much stopped his evil ways. It felt forced.

"Nice guy" from the shop turned out to be preety skillful with wind style and was the one who killed those siblings father.
Overall great episode mix of chill vibes and bit of action loved it from start to finish.

I wish they gave us another Uchiha arc maybe an minor information leak which leads Sarada to the uchiha temple where Sasuke’s fought Itachi and Sasuke either concludes to tell some true or misguided her with lies since she isn’t ready
See this is what we need good fillers like this however this filler we got was amazing too wish we could have reanimation arc with itachi coming back and seeing what all sasuke accomplished and Naruto unless he’s watching waiting on his brother like run waited on obito

A popular fan theory in Boruto is that the new villain Eida is the daughter of Amado. Chapter 68 reveals the final detail in confirming this theory. The most recent chapter of Boruto ends on a cliffhanger that comes incredibly close to confirming a new theory about one of the series' main villains.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move and Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.
3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.
I often wonder why people call him "fused" Momoshiki instead of transformed or something. Its not dragon ball or anything, he flat out consumed Kinshiki lol. Its so odd to me

Idk i haven't fully watched Boruto yet but I keep up with it. The Anime looks good with its style and everything but for some reason to me it seems like they have many episodes that leads to no where. Like they'll create an problem that arises and then solve it by the end of it episode but it doesn't lead to a bigger purpose. I could be wrong because I haven't fully watched it but just looking at clips each week something new and different is going on. In Naruto, this didn't happen so often. It was always the chunin exam, then Garaa going crazy, then we went to Orochimaru stuff, then Sasuke upset and runs away, etc. I could have the order mixed up😂but it always stayed on one huge topic and each episode was based off that. Hopefully Boruto can do the same but in a different way.
