    Can’t wait for Dragon Bane. This is probably the first Solo RPG ruleset supplement Free League come up with that doesn’t feel half baked!
    Also love the procedures you come up with. Great work as usual!!

      Thank You it was a lot of fun to play. I agree this is their best work so far. I watched a video on the Walking Dead solo rules and they look good also and might work better for Twilight 2000.

    subscribed and liked. I play table top scenario games like Rangers of SD and Elder Scroll CTA but have never tried to solo an RPG so will find this series interesting. Thanks for doing this. Cheers

      I am a long time miniature gamer and painter and RPGs all started from miniature games. I have been reading Five Leagues from the Boarderlands and will be getting that on the table one day. Need to paint up a bunch of miniatures for it. Thank you for subscribing and you can't go wrong starting off with Dragonbane for a solo RPG.

      @@solitaryrpg Thanks! I have the books for both Five leagues and Five parsecs from home. I have the games just lack the time.

    Army of One - 2d10 & you get two turns per round. Only mentioning it because I didn’t think I heard you say that part - you get two turns per round.

      I miss spoke it happens. I get two cards and two turns and is why it helps so much with solo play.

    Great game and video! I'm planning on ordering the box set but I have a question, can I play the whole thing solo? I'm mainly a solo player and I would like to know whether I can play the other adventures in the box solo.
    Appreciate it.

    • @solitaryrpg
      @solitaryrpg  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for the kind words about the video. The adventure provided for solo play works great but the written adventures might require some work. The way I would approach a prewritten adventure is to skim it over and see how the book is laid out and cover any spoiler information. Set the adventure aside and forget about it. Than pick it up later and start playing it. Sure you will remember parts of it but those thoughts could be considered rumors or just something your characters heard at the last town. Just don't play the adventure right away and try to keep the spoilers to a minimal. I hope this helps.

    Hi, is there any game where you can have a DM and play with only one PC? I have never DMd before so a novice, but would like to try, with the husband to play the PC. Thank you for tips!

    • @solitaryrpg
      @solitaryrpg  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dragonbane would be a great system to learn how to GM with only one player. You can use the solo rules but you do the rolling for random events and narrate the story. Just have your husband run the character. If you are not interested in Dragonbane you can do the same thing with any RPG. Just sit down and start playing simple encounters at a tavern or small wildlife events. Get comfortable and start adding to the story. The best tip I can give you is be comfortable with the rules and prepared to adjust when your husband does something unexpected. You can go it just go slow and don't put pressure on yourself. You are just rolling dice and having fun.
